Innogear - Duex MP302 Another competitor for the MuVo. That depends.

The Good
Small. Cool back lit 3 lines LCD. No USB cable required. Act as storage device. Preset EQ.

The Bad
Bad sound quality at high volumn. Non-upgradable memory.

The Conclusion

Another better version of the Creative MuVo. It has the similar size as the MuVo, same function of the MuVo but with added features such as the COOL backlit LCD! Further, the price of the MP302 only slightly more expensive than the MuVo. As in operation, it is better than MuVo. Example, it takes less than 1 second for the MP302 to start playing, while the MuVo can take like up to 8-10 seconds or so.

But, one of the thing that drives me away is the bad sound quality at high volumn. At around 80% volumn, you will able to hear some bad noise at the background. If you use the worthless earphone provided, you may not be able to listen much of these noise, but with a nice pair of earphone and at 100% volumn, the noise is unbearable.

Conclusion, with the price, it is a threat to the MuVo since it has a cool LCD display with some other functions such as voice recording using the build-in mic. Nevertheless, if you are a sound fanatic that really take into consideration of sound quality at high volumn, then stick to MuVo. On the other hand, if you have $$$ in your pocket, try the iRiver-iFP-180T.
