The Doorbell Ghost

Three years ago, I bought this old house in Southern New Hampshire.Things were great. Me and my wife,(both of us 26 years old) were starting life together in our new house. We were happy and filled with joy...untill nightfall. All night long, I would hear the t.v. come on. I'd walk downstairs to turn it off, thinking the cat had done it playing around. So I turned it off, and as soon as I went upstairs, the doorbell would ring! I would go downstairs to see who was messing aroundand saw no one. Once again, I trudge upstairs in anticipation of going to sleep. I lay my head upon the pillow and once again, the doorbell rings! Now I was getting mad. I ran downstairs to see what was up. I waited and waited, then it rang once again, and didn't stop. There was no one there.Goosebumps rose on the back of my neck and I felt a cold chill go down my spine. All of a sudden, everything came on at the same time. The t.v., stereo, lights, and even the microwave! Well, needless to say,I freaked! I yelled at the top of my lungs:"We want to start a family here and we don't need this, so please, stop making yourself known!I don't care if you stay here, just don't scare my family." As soon as that was said, everything turned off and the ghost was never heard from again. I know he is still here because every once in awhile, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up and that cold to the bone feeling comes. Like I said, I don't care as long as he remains unknown to the family. Oh God, here it goes again!! Be back in a sec.....WHEW!! Just my wife taking a shower! So if you hear strange things that go bump in the night, maybe you can reason with them. We all know there's no such thing as ghosts, right......
