Suicide Note
The only one who knew me
Knew me weeping
The only one who saw me
Saw me cry
The things that I have dreamt
In dreams are dying
The time has come
When I must say gooodbye.
The one who made the promises
Then broke them
The one who offered love
Then took it back
The shadows on the sun
Are ever changing
The time has come
When all is turning black.
The door was open, I reached
For tomorrow
And found instead
A bitter yesterday
I saw that there
WAs no end to my weeping -
The time had come
When I must go away.
There are things that we
Will end our lives regretting
And days that will seem cold
Despite their heat -
I just want to live in peace,
To live fogetting
The pain that I
Would rather not repeat
I sought, and found
That there was no tomorrow
And I had but one thing
Left in life to do
And even though
I've lived a life of sorrow
It hurts me now
To say goodbye to you.
