This is a picture of the Hawaiian sailing craft
Hokulea with Mauna Kea in the background. In 1997 the
Hokulea along with her sister craft, Hawaiiloa,
sailed to Tahiti and back using nothing but what you
see in the picture and used ancient seafaring skills.
No modern equipment was aboard the craft except for a
Ham radio.
This is a picture on top of Mauna Kea with Mauna Loa
in the background. SEE there is snow in Hawai'i!!!
