Garter Stitch Potholder
Materials: Cotton Worsted Weight (best in variegated); size 5 US needles; Yarn Needle; 1 inch plastic ring, crochet hook size G
(Make 2)
Cast on 4 stitches.
ROW 1: K2, yo, K2
ROW 2: K2, yo, K rest of row.
Continue Row 2 until you reach 40 stitches.
ROW 3: K1, K2TOG, yo, K2TOG, K rest of row.
Repeat Row 3 until 4 stitches remain.
Bind off.
With Yarn Needle, whip stitch both sides together.
With crochet hook, attach yarn to corner and single crochet around 1 inch ring. Finish off. Weave in ends.
