Why 13th Carrot?
Imagine a simple balance scale. On one side of the scale you put a
weight. On the other side of the scale you begin to pile carrots.
Your job is to bring the scale into balance. The scale will not move
until you put enough carrots on the scale to balance the weight.
You put on one carrot[]. Nothing happens. You put on a
second carrot[]. Again, nothing happens. You put on a third[],
a fourth[] . . . [], [], [], [], [], [],
an eleventh[], a twelfth carrot[].

Nothing happens.

The scale does not move.

You give up.

You never know that the 13th Carrot[]
would have brought the scale to perfect balance.

The mission of 13th Carrot is to use the power of live, physically based theatre to bring people together, to foster interaction, and to discover what we all have in common and what makes us each unique.
