"WHERE'S THE LOVE?"
By: Desdemona Grey

On a calm cool night last week, disturbances wreaked havoc on an unsuspecting couple. Taylor, and new wife Natalie, Hanson were sleeping soundly in their bed when a troublesome noise downstairs woke Taylor.
Opening his eyes, Taylor waited to make sure he heard the noise again before he took action. Lying there for a moment, he thought for sure he had simply dreamt the noise and was ready to go back to sleep.
  Alas! The noise happened again.
This time he acted immediately. Gripping the shoulder of his wife, he insistently shook her awake.
Jerking awake, Natalie glances around the room, wondering what was happening. Noticing that the room is shaking, she flees the bed and heads for the doorway.
Taylor, right behind her, remembers to pick up the flashlight in the nightstand on his way.
  "Here." He whispers loudly.
He holds onto her shoulder as he shoves the light into her hands and pushes her out into the hallway.
  "Go see what it is!"
Tossing a dirty look over at her husband, Natalie took the hesitant steps that he forced her to take, still shoving her.
They make it slowly down the stairs, trying to remember the right steps to avoid so that there would be no creaks to tip off the intruders that they were indeed, not alone.
At the bottom of the steps, they noticed that the noises were coming from the living room.
Creeping to the entryway, Taylor's grip on Natalie tightened and she had to elbow him to lighten it.
Choosing to take the intruders by surprise, the couple jumped into the room, screaming at the top of their lungs as Natalie flipped on the light switch.
"Oh!" Taylor exclaims blankly before smiling. "I forgot I set
the timer on the TV."
Glaring at her husband, Natalie watched as he moved to the couch and sat down, putting his feet on the coffee table (which she probably already told him not to do a hundred times.)
  Taylor!" She shouts.
He looks up at her distractedly for a second before turning his eyes back to the glowing television.
"You wanna watch, The Real World, with me Nat? It's the one where they're in London."
It was at this point which Natalie used the flashlight in her hands as a weapon and started beating her husband.
Suffering from only a few large bruises and a mild concussion, Taylor is doing fine and expressly declares he will not press spousal abuse charges against Natalie. "I love her! It was just a simple misunderstanding." He told 3-D Gossip in confidence.
So a word of warning to the fella's out there. If you and your significant other hear a noise downstairs… MAKE SURE YOU CARRY THE FLASHLIGHT!
