Respect For Hanson

After a year, Hanson fans are getting more and more pathetic and dis- respectful to Hanson and their family. But now people are crossing the line between diligant fan and grossly obsessed fan. You can mail me and criticize me all you want, but this is out of hand.

People are digging through their trash, taking pieces of their lawn, banging on windows and from what I have heard, taking pieces of their tree house as souvenirs. That is disgusting. People are taking it upon themselves to intrude upon private property, and take pieces of their tree house, that I am sure means a great deal to them and would like to have been able to have their younger siblings enjoy it, but selfish people are too worried about getting a piece of wood to care!

All these guys have ever tried to do is try to make music people will enjoy. And they have been very nice to there fans, signing autographs at concerts for all the fans, taking pics with fans, and talking to fans, and how do fans repay them? By digging up their lawn. Nice 'Thank you' huh? Remember that next time you go by their house.

Adding a 'Girl' to the group- its not likely, but if it happens,and it doesn't diminish the quality of the music- why should anyone care? Hanson has done an amazing job of judging their music, and if they think adding a girl would make them sound better, we, as fans, should trust their judgement and not quit buying their c.d.'s, because we're afraid she may date one of them.

PRIVACY

Does it REALLY matter if Ike likes crunchy peanut butter? Or if Taylor's toothbrush is red or blue?? Or if Zac like green jello or red jello better??? Where do people get this stuff??? It's perfectly reasonable to want to know stuff about them- B-day, height, even weight, but then it gets into the 'None of your business' category.

Basically it goes like this- if you read it on Hansonline, its okay to print, or to a point, what they say in an interview becase its from their own mouths, not 'hear say' or 'rumors,' Other than that- who cares??? I mean, does it REALLY matter if they wear boxers or briefs effect there music or what kinda people they are- NO! It doesn't, so its irrelavent. Would you want everyone knowing, or guessing, what color your bed sheets are or what color cloths you sleep in? Pprobably not. And onto my personal favorite- 'Girlfriends' :)

I know ALOT of people say they're gonna marry a Hanson bro, and are there 'biggest' fan- and heck, they very well may do that, but let's be realistic people. No matter how much you know about them, how much you have in common with them, chances are- they don't know you, and never will. And someday, if they don't now, they are going to have girlfriends and date.

And if you 'love' them as much as you say you do- you'd want them to be happy, and so having a girlfriend would probably make them happy. And how dare ANYbody threaten to send hate mail or death threats to their girlfriends and just have hatred for a person you don't know just because of her boyfriend. Would you want people doing that to you just because of who you dated? I doubt it.

Hanson became famous and therefore, their life is no-longer a secret. Every move they make is being watched, and I'm sure they've accepted this. But their private life is their PRIVATE life. Not to become rumors on some web-site.

Not all Hanson fans are being criticized, most are very controlled and understanding. It's the other small percentage this is aimed towards.

Please pass this along to as many people as possible. Whether you agree or not, please take a minute of your lives and put yourself in their position and look at how you act towards them, or famous people in general, and see if you'd enjoy it.
