"Because he was asking me something about the song." Eva defended.
"Well, if that's the case then we did you call him HON? You call me HON." Taylor thought out loud
"Taylor, it was just something quick and off the top of my head." Eva shook her head.
"Now you're thinking about him, he's on the top of your head, and if this keeps up that's not the only thing on you he'll be on top of..." Taylor said angrily.
Eva looked up at him and there was a five-second delay until her fist had a chat with his nose.
Taylor sat up and nursed his bloody nose. "What the hell was that for?!" He demanded harshly as he grabbed for a towel on one of the dressers.
Eva glared at him. "For even thinking that I would sleep with him, you inconsiderate bastard!" She shrieked.
Standing up with a bruised ego Taylor stalked towards the door. "I'll talk to you when you're more rational." He stated unevenly.
Once he marched to his room and saw Jade he scowled. "Leave!" He shouted.
Jade raised her eyes up to him and started laughing. "Was it the right hook?" She asked him smiling.
Taylor was about to nod his head before his male ego flared. "Just go, damn you."
Jade laughed again and quickly kissed Isaac goodnight and hugged Zac. "I taught her that punch." She said grinning before Taylor slammed the door shut.
He could hear her laughing all the way to her room.
"What'd you say?" Zac laughed.
"Nothing." Taylor said as he walked quickly to the bathroom.
He looked at his self in the mirror and saw Jonny smiling at him in the back of his mind.
Jade patted Eva on the back. "Why'd you punch him?" She asked.
"He suggested that I would sleep with Jonny." Eva shook her head.
Jade nodded her head "Yep, that'll do it."
After that morning of recording, last day, Eva asked Jonny to come by the hotel and teach her how to play 'Lie To Me.'
Jonny readily agreed, and Jade had doubts about his one. She knew Taylor's fuse was short, this one incident may sever the damn thing.
"Hey, Tay, come with me for a few hours." Jade said as she tied her shoelace.
"What for?" Taylor asked bitterly.
Jade looked at him questioning. "Cause you know I won't punch you in the face." She replied, pointing to his still red swollen nose.
Taylor went Jade, along with Isaac and Zac.
Thirty minutes after they left Jonny knocked on Eva and Jade's door.
Eva opened smiling.
Jonny greeted her with a nod. "So where is everybody?" He said looking around.
"Jade took them out." Eva smiled as she took out her guitar.
"Why?" Jonny asked as he sat next to her on the bed.
Eva laughed. "You really have to ask?? Did you forget that Taylor is still on the warpath?" She asked shaking her head.
Jonny shook his head also, "That boy just is not right."
Eva nodded her head in agreement, she took her guitar and placed against her, Jonny smiled.
“You know I’m really glad that you agreed to do this song. It’s been a great pleasure of mine to become friends.” Eva smiled.
“Me too.” Jonny smiled as he placed his hand on her shoulder.
Eva feeling beyond uncomfortable smiled up at Jonny. ‘So how do I start this?” She asked slowly.
Jonny looked down and took her fingers and placed them in the right position.
Eva nodded and Jonny showed her about ten cords.
“Then just cram them together.” Jonny smiled.
Eva nodded again, after she had played the few cords, Jonny placed his hand on the guitar.
“Eva.” Jonny spoke more softly than she had ever heard him.
Eva smiled before looking at him, “Yes?” She asked looking up.
“I uhhh.... I have something to say.” Jonny said looking down.
“Okay.” Eva said before she cleared her throat.
“I hate myself...” Jonny spoke slowly.
“Why?” Eva raised an eyebrow.
“Because I can’t help what I’m feeling, what my hearts screaming at me.” He said softly. He placed his hand on her cheek and slid it off.
Eva closed her eyes.
“Jonny,” She said as she opened them.
“I know... but I just can’t...” Jonny said as his face neared hers.
Eva pulled back slowly, “This is not right....”
“I know, but if I can just touch your lips once, once I’ll leave it like it is, I leave to your life and I can go on with mine...” Jonny said before his lips closed on hers.
Slowly Eva kissed back, then pulled away from him.
Jonny shook his head, “One more time, once more....” He said before he kissed her again, this time it was longer.
Five seconds after their lips met, Jade walked in the door and slammed it behind her. She looked up and saw Eva and Jonny in the middle of a lip-lock.
They quickly pulled away.
“Jade!” Eva jumped up.
Jade stood their with her mouth to the floor.
Jonny bit his lip.
Jade turned to him, “Umm Jonny it’d be best if you leave...”
"Yeah it would...” Jonny said as he nodded bye to Eva, and headed out the door.
Jade stood there with mixed expressions. “What the hell was that?” She stormed at Eva.
“An oopsy?” Eva asked slowly.
“Yeah....” Jade sighed angrily; “I knew it! I KNEW IT.”
“Jade, chill. It was my mistake...” Eva sighed.
“Taylor was right... he had every right to be jealous….” Jade shook her head.
“I didn’t sleep with him, all it was, was a kiss.” Eva shook her head
"NO, Eva! It was a lip-lock.” Jade said raising her voice “You know that thing grosses me out every time you and Taylor do it.”
A knock landed on the door, causing them both to be quiet and stare at each other.
“Jade, please don’t tell Taylor.” Eva begged.
“I won’t.” Jade said biting her lip. She opened the door and found Zac on the other side. He smiled and walked in.
“What’s going on here?” Zac asked in a good humor.
“Eva and Jonny umm where teaching each other how to play umm a different type of instrument.” Jade said as she shot Eva a sharp look.
Eva hung her head. “Zac please.... “ She begged.
“What?” Zac shrugged, “Ike and I already knew it....”
Jade shook her head.
Eva sighed slowly, “Last thing I wanted to do was really hurt Taylor I just wanted him to see there was nothing to worry about.... But I was wrong and he was right... I love Taylor and I’m so stupid.”
“You just can’t make her feel bad….” Jade said to Zac.
Zac laughed.
