Part 13

Jade looked down at Eva with heavy eyes. "One more time. Let her talk, move or make a sound." She said as she held a pillow slightly above her best friend’s face while she was sleeping.

"This is the last time. No more. I'll do it! I'll do it!" Jade told herself.

She growled as she heard a soft knock on the door the door she looked at the clock. "It's one-forty-eight who the hell could it be, but most important I won't be able to kill Eva." She mumbled as she walked to the door.

As she opened it she pulled her shorts down and smiled. "What in the hell do you want?? Don't you ever sleep you asshole??" She asked Taylor quickly.

"Of course I sleep!" He shouted. "Don't you ever wear clothes that fit?!"

"Like you can talk prick!" She shouted back at him.

"And like you can talk about not sleeping!" He replied.

Jade stared at him quizzically. "Wait, why are we screaming at each other?" She asked.

Taylor stared at her. Anger etched out on his face. "I don't know!" He said exasperated.

She nodded her head. "Just wanted to make sure." She answered before she slammed the door in his face. "Night!" She called through it.

"WAIT! I wanna come in!" Taylor said shaking his head, "Please."

Jade laughed loudly. "What's the magic phrase?"

"Save a tree, eat a beaver?" Taylor asked rolling his eyes.

"Nope."

"I'm gay and Jade is always right." Taylor asked.

"I like that one but, uh no."

“I don't know." Taylor sighed, "Please, just let me in."

Jade opened the door. "Its Jonny Lang kissed my girlfriend."

Taylor snorted, "I would comment, but I'm not gonna." He said as he walked in.

"So what do you want?" Jade asked smiling as she closed the door.

Taylor shrugged, "To talk to Eva. Why else would I be here?" He questioned.

"Cause you're retarded and you seem to have a thing for buggin’ me." She answered shrugging.

Taylor smiled. "I bug you??"

Jade smiled back at him sweetly. "Yeah, but I could squash ya like a bug too." She reminded him.

"Yeah. Well, I need to talk to Eva." Taylor repeated.

"Good. She's sleeping. But you might be able to get a conversation out of her." Jade said smiling brightly. "But I'm pissed at you right now."

"Why what'd I do? You weren't even asleep!" He commented.

Jade simply shrugged her shoulders again. "I was gonna kill her but you interrupted."

“You wouldn't want to do that. Jonny might miss her." Taylor said rolling his eyes.

"I's got a question." Jade stated slowly. "How long are you going to be talking about this?"

Taylor shrugged and Jade nodded thoughtfully, “Just askin’.”

"So how would I wake her up?" Taylor asked.

Jade looked down at Eva and shrugged. She walked to her bed as Taylor walked to Eva's. He sat on the bed and looked down at her.

Jade laughed, "Should I be listening?"

Taylor shook his head.

"Okay!" Jade smiled.

Taylor leaned his ear down to hear what Eva was saying. "Mmmm," Eva giggled. "Funny man." She mumbled before she rolled over onto her side. "Do it again."

Taylor started laughing, and so did Eva.

"Jonny, sing like Tay again. You're funny." She murmured.

Taylor stood up quickly. He went looking for water. Taking the bucket used for ice he went into the bathroom.

Jade watched excitedly, waiting to see what was going to happen.

He came back with the bucket full of water.

"Hey umm, Tay?" She asked confused.

"What?" He asked walking back over to Eva's bed.

"You have water, but no water was turned on." She stated slowly.

Taylor grinned. "That's cause I didn't run any. I got it from another place."

Jade covered her mouth with her hand. "Oh my, God. The toilet!" She said loudly. Finally understanding.

Taylor nodded and smiled. Before Jade could even think about stopping him he replied. "Don't worry it was clean." And then he dumped it on Eva.

"Wakey, wakey." He told her smiling.

"Oooooo, Jonny, the shower’s cold..." Eva mumbled slightly louder, "Turn on more hot water, I like it hot."

Taylor's eyes burned red while Jade started laughing hysterically.

"Well I don't like hot water." Taylor said as he shook Eva.

Eva quickly opened her eyes and smiled pleasingly, "Hi sweetheart, and don't ever do that again or believe me it'll be worse than what you heard."

Taylor slid his tongue across his teeth as in a less threatening way of showing them.

Eva smiled as she sat up in her wet bed like it didn't even phase her, though she was freezing, "And you are here why?"

Jade smiled. "You know I was asking the same question a while ago." She stated. After a few seconds she replied. "But in much different words of course."

Eva nodded her head. "Of course." She looked up at Taylor. "Now, why are you here?"

"Just wanted to talk." Taylor stated simply.

She nodded. "At..." She started as she looked over at the clock. "Two a.m.?" She nodded again. "You suck at timing, dude." She commented. "Can this wait ‘til later?" She questioned.

He shook his head. "No."

She sighed, "Then what is it?"

"I just wanted to her your voice again." Taylor smiled as he took a piece of her wet hair.

"Well that's sweet but people here would like to get their sleep." Eva stated sighing.

"Would you shove Jonny out if he did this?" Taylor asked through tight lips.

"You know each time you bring him up the more I'm falling in love with him." Eva barked.

Taylor rolled his eyes, "Well just kiss me good night and I'll try and leave you alone."

Eva nodded and smiled, as Taylor neared her face she pecked him quickly.

"Goodnight, see ya in the morning." She smiled as she threw her covers over her.

Taylor moaned, "I bet if that was.... Ahhhh never mind." He said as he shook his head and got up.

Jade got up and walked him to the door. "Night, night princess." She said smiling. "I'll see ya in da morning."

Taylor groaned. "Stop calling me that." He whined.

She shook her head. " ‘Til, you prove you're a man, you're stuck with the nicknames." She said grinning at him. "Now I'll see ya in da mornin’, precious." She laughed.

Taylor nodded. "Night!" He shouted and walked out the door, slamming it behind him.

"He's so funny, when he's freaking out." Jade mumbled as she went to her bed. "Ten to one, he wears pink."

Eva giggled. "Go to sleep!"

"Okay, okay. Sheez." Jade said laughing again.

"Besides I wouldn't kiss a guy that wears pink anyways..." Eva stated as she shook her head.

Jade smiled.

"Jade, did he get mad about what I said?" She asked carefully.

She nodded "Yep. Eva, you really need to be careful about this man...."

Eva sighed, "I know." She looked at the clock, then jumped as the phone rang.

Jade only laughed and then growled at the same time. She reached for it but Eva got it first.

"Ha, ha hello?"

Jade watched Eva's facial expressions.

"What are you doing calling this late?" She asked uncomfortably as she started to fidget with the phone cord.

"Well I'm sorry, Ed McMahn, but I'm tired. GO TO BED!!" She shouted before she hung up.

Jade smiled over at her. "Did we win the money?" She asked.

"No, but we might be a winner." She answered before she got comfortable in her bed.

The phone rang again.

"What?" Eva asked picked up again, then she sighed a soft sigh, "I can't."

"Who is it?" Shann asked in thousands of harsh whispers.

Eva shook her head. "Please, no." She said softly, "I thought you said we would leave it like it is... I don't care! Please, Jonny."

Jade's eyes widened, and Taylor burst through the door.

"GOOD-BYE! No, Ed McMahn!! WE DON'T CARE!"

"Huh?" Jonny asked, then he heard the dial tone.

"Hello, baby." Eva said smiling at him.

Taylor glared at her. "Who were you talking to?" He asked.

"Who else do you call Ed McMahn?" Jade asked sarcastically. "He's the only asshole who would be up at this time." Then she started laughing. "Well, besides you."

Eva started laughing and nodded her head in agreement with her sister.

"NO, WHO WAS IT?" Taylor's voice thundered louder than anyone of the girl’s had heard it.

Jade looked at him with wide eyes, "I didn't know you had it in you, princess."

Eva shook her head, "Wrong number." She told him.

Taylor shook his head. "I don't believe you. No one can dial a wrong number to a hotel room, Eva!"

Jade smiled. "Okay, so he is a lil' bright." She commented.

Eva glared at her and Jade smiled and waved. "Remember all you have to do is just smile and wave. Smile and wave people." She reminded them.

"Damn it Taylor, some one called and didn't answer. Me and Jade have an inside joke about it being Ed McMahn." Eva said looking at him.

Taylor shook his head, "How did he get your number in the first place?"

"Well you see," Jade started, "They have computers.... and they can get your number.."

"Jonny, how did the bastard get your number?" Taylor glared at Eva.

Eva stood up and walked over to Taylor and tried to hold him.

"Don't." Taylor turned away, "Don't ever touch me, not until I feel you deserve it..."

She looked at him with tears in her eyes.

Jade quickly spoke up, "I gave it to him, and it was NOT Jonny that called."

Taylor looked at her with pure disbelief in his eyes, before he turned to look at Eva again. He didn't even look over at her when he spoke. "Yeah, Jade." He said sarcastically. "I believe it."

Jade stood up quickly. "Don't you ever look at me like that!" She shouted angrily. "You don't know what the hell you're talking about!"

She went to get closer to him, but Eva held her back. "No," She whispered. "Let it go."

"The hell I will." She stated.

"Please?" Eva asked quietly.

Looking down at her, Jade slowly started to back off. She walked over to the door. "Get out." She hissed quietly. Not even looking at him.

Taylor didn't move.

"If you don't move I'll call the front desk and remove you. Or I will do it myself."

After a few seconds Taylor started for the door. "I'm sorry." He murmured.

Jade and Eva didn't even look at him. "Yeah, me too." Eva responded as he walked out.

"Jade, I don't get it." Eva said softly, "All we wanted to do was record a song with Jonny, and it ended up in hell."

Jade nodded, "I know."

Eva took a deep breath and walked out the door too.

Jade watched her, "WHERE ARE YOU GO....." She trailed off as Eva didn't even say a word.

Jade looked back in the room after closing the door, "DAMNIT!" she cried “Damnit, damnit, damnit!" She shouted as she slammed her head against the door.

Once she was in her room, she went and laid in her bed. Trying to convince herself that she could sleep. Laying for five minute she knew she was wasting her time.

Angrily she stormed out of her room and started pounding on Hanson's door.

Isaac answered it. Half scared out of his mind from the sudden abrupt awakening. "What's wrong?" He asked quickly seeing her.

Jade just looked through him. "I have to speak to Taylor." She growled.

It was taking all she had to act as rationally as she was.

When she spotted Taylor behind Isaac, she brushed past him as if he were nothing.

"Now you've gone and done it, asshole!" She shouted. "How much do you have to hurt her?" She asked bitterly. "How much?" She asked again when he didn't answer instantly.

"Until she hurts like I do." Taylor responded.

"Okay." Jade nodded. Then she slammed him up against the wall. "Then I will make you hurt as much as I do!" She shouted.

Isaac and Zac were trying to pull her off him. Failing miserably. "She loves you!" She shouted hysterically. "And this is how you re-pay her! I hope you’re able to live with yourself, because if she can’t find approval here, then...."

She stared at him. Anger and hurt burning in her eyes. She slammed him against the wall one more time before she started to walk away.

"Jade," Isaac started.

She shook her head venomously. "Don't." She stated. "Not now. Give me ‘til tomorrow." She replied leaving on unsteady feet.
