"You must be freezing..." He said wrapping his arms around her.
She nodded her head slowly.
"Please come in."
Eva looked around the nicely set up hotel room.
"Why are you here?" Jonny asked softly, "You know if Taylor found out..."
"Taylor doesn't seem to give a damn about me anyway so what does it matter." Eva said softly, "It's kinda warm in here, it feels nice."
Jonny nodded slowly. "Eva, what are you doing here?" He asked again.
She stared up at him. "Why did you call me? Twice? It can't be about the song either. And it couldn't have been something against Taylor. You didn't even know he woulda walked in!" She shouted angrily.
Eva tried to control her emotions. She thought the walk she had let her let off some steam, but she was wrong. A mixture of pain and anger ran deep inside her now. And she wanted to understand it. She needed to.
Jonny looked. "You mean you haven't guessed it by now?" He asked.
"I suck at guessing games." She snapped.
Jonny gave her a small smile. "Everyone wants what they can't have." He murmured.
Understanding flooded Eva's eyes. Then confusion. "You can't..." She started.
"Why can't I?" Jonny asked angrily.
"Because you have a girlfriend." Eva stated.
"And you have a boyfriend." Jonny responded
“I’m not so sure.” She said before she turned her head.
“What do you mean?” Jonny asked slightly hopefully.
“Taylor’s being a real ass. Him and Shann are fighting, because of me, and I just need someone to hold me, but Taylor’s not going to do. He told me not to touch him, that hurt worse than almost anything that happened.” Eva sighed softly.
Jonny looked over at her as he got a blanket from his bed and walked towards her.
“I shouldn’t be here.” She said as she looked around after Jonny placed the semi-thin blanket around her.
His smell entered her nose, a strange unfamiliar smell, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the smell she was used to.
“Then why are you here?” Jonny asked.
“That’s what I’m askin’ myself. I think I’m scared to go back there. I’m scared to hear the yelling that I caused. I can’t stand to hear Taylor’s voice say your name in vain...” She started, “I just need somebody to hold and to listen.”
“I know this probably not what you wanted to hear, but I can’t blame Taylor...” Jonny said slowly, “And as for some one to listen. I’m here.”
Then he softly kissed the top of her head as if they had been in each other’s arms forever. “I’ll be here to hold you.” He breathed upon her.
Eva kept a straight face.
Jonny slowly wrapped his arms around her, “Come here.”
He lead her to a small fire place in the huge room, she sat down in front of it, Jonny sat right next to her with his arms still around her. The light of the fireplace danced on the walls as the two shadows emerged. Jonny placed his head on Eva’s.
“Can I be truthful with you?” He spoke carefully.
“What?” Eva asked slightly harsh.
“It’s gonna take every thing I have in me not to kiss you.” Jonny said as he closed his eyes in shame, “But I can’t help it.”
Eva shook her head, “I can’t betray Taylor again. I just can’t.”
Jonny slowly placed his lips on her ear then her neck. “I want you.” He said softly, “I know the price that I must pay and I know the price that you must pay.”
Jonny kissed her shoulder.
Eva turned her head in his direction to object, then he pressed his lips to hers.
Tears rolled down her face as her lips brushed by his then quickly she pulled back and jumped up.
“I can’t, I may like you Jonny, but I LOVE Taylor. You may LIKE me, but I know you LOVE your girlfriend.” She said quickly as she ran to the door.
“I’ll see you later, Jonny.” Eva said as she walked out the door and ran back.
Jonny sat there with his arms in the covers. Slowly one single tear came from his right eye, he thought about what she said, she was right.
Zac staggered around in the dark room for a few seconds before he found the door and opened it.
“Where’s Taylor?” Eva asked quickly.
Zac pointed to a bed with a huge lump in it that was wrapped up in covers.
Eva walked by Zac, he shrugged his shoulders and closed the door behind her.
She walked up the bed and pulled back some of the covers, she saw Taylor’s sleeping face, and smiled as she placed her lips on top of his and forced a deep kiss.
Taylor awoke with her mouth on his.
“Eva, what are you doi....” Taylor asked as Eva pulled back more of the covers and sliding into the bed with him.
“Just shut up and hold me.” Eva said with such a tone that he didn’t ask or say anything after. He just did as he was told.
Eva smelled that same warm smell, that smell that she smelled every time he kissed her. She cuddled up to him as close as possible.
Zac smiled and laid back down.
“I love you Taylor, and no matter what I have done, what I might do in the future, I LOVE YOU and only YOU. For the rest of my life your lips are the only ones I wanna kiss.” Eva said be fore she yawned and allowed her self to fall asleep.
“I love you too.” Taylor smiled as he nuzzled his head against the back of hers.
Jade woke up and looked over at Eva’s bed, she found it empty.
And Jade knowing where Eva went last night had the feeling she was still there.
“Forgive me Eva, but this is not forgivable.” She sighed as she slowly got out of bed and dressed.
She walked out the door and a few seconds later she was pounding on Hanson’s door.
Isaac opened the door with a huge yawn.
“Ike, where’s Taylor. I have to speak to him.” Jade started and brushed by him.
“Uh there.” Isaac said pointing over towards a bed.
“Tay! Get up. Eva’s at a place that your not gonna like, and I think you better go kick some ass princess.” Jade said before she got to the bed.
