Isaac and Zac left as Jade just stared and watched shaking her head the whole time as Eva threw her body on her bed and sobbed.
Eva walked around with her tail between her legs. Though Jade wanted to comment she didn't. Soon after Eva went out the door and Jade knew exactly where... Eva craved attention.
Jade went into Hanson's room. Taylor was lying on his bed with earphones on and his discman on full blast. She looked over at Isaac and Zac who were playing poker with a few twenty-dollar bills.
"Ooh, poker!" Jade shouted. "My favorite card game."
Isaac and Zac started picking up their money.
"Uh, uh, no way in hell am I playing you again." Zac stated as he started putting the cards back in the box.
Jade crossed her arms and pouted. "What, I'm an amateur."
"Yeah, right." Isaac muttered. "You got all of last months allowance." He commented.
Jade smiled, "You get a lot of an allowance too." She glanced of at Taylor, who wasn't moving. "Is he alive?" She whispered.
Isaac nodded. "Yeah, he is. But he's kinda depressed right now."
"I know." Jade said nodding also. "Hell, I would be too."
Isaac nodded again and Zac shook his head.
Jade slowly got up and walked over, she sat on the bed a stared at him.
Taylor didn't moved and it hardly looked like he was even breathing.
"Taylor?" Jade asked slowly.
Taylor still didn't move.
"Good luck, Jade." Isaac mumbled
Jade touched his arm lightly, and he yet still refused to move or do anything. "That's it." She stated as she jumped on his legs.
He sat up quickly. "WHAT THE F___?!" He shouted.
"TAY!" Isaac shouted. Stopping him from finishing the sentence.
Taylor looked at Jade and glared "What do you want?" He questioned harshly.
Jade grinned. "Now that you've asked," She started. "I want to see you move just a little bit more. Go on a walk with me?" She suggested.
He shook his head. "Nah. I just wanna stay in and drown in misery."
Jade nodded. "That's a good way to deal with it, but since I'm your friend, I won't letcha do it." She commented. "So you either get up and move, or I drag you."
Taylor didn't move, so Jade started to get up, and that's when Taylor started moving around. Grabbing socks and shoes and heading for the door.
"See ya later guys." Jade said smiling at Isaac and Zac as she walked out the door.
As they walked down the street Taylor looked up at the gray sky that proposed rain, "So where are we going and why?"
Jade looked at him, "For a walk and cause you need fresh air."
"No, you want me to get back with Eva, but I'm going to do it.
Jade looked at him almost insulted that he had said such a thing, "Taylor, Eva deserved what she got, I don't blame you at all. I just thought you could use some air."
Taylor sighed loudly.
Jade groaned and pulled him over to a tree. She pointed to the ground and waited for him to sit down before she did too. "Look, I know Eva, and I know you. I'm Eva's sister, but I'm your friend. What happens between you two effect me too."
She touched his arm again, and waited for him to look at her before she continued. "I don't think you deserved some of the things Eva did. But you were jealous so much, that even I wanted to teach you a lesson on trust." She confessed.
Taylor opened his mouth to stubbornly defend himself from her.
Jade shook her head and he snapped it shut and stubbornly crossed his arms in front of him. "You were, and a lot of us were in on it. Even Jonny at first..." She was quiet a moment. "But then it went too far, and I'm sorry about that." She told him gently as she watched her hands in her lap.
Taylor didn't comment on stared at the sky, "So we're staying the rest of the week?"
Jade nodded and smiled at his effort to change the subject, "Yes, we are."
Taylor soon got up and brushed off his butt and so did Jade, they went and walked further down the street.
Jade quickly started getting bored with just walking, and all the serious talks she'd been having, were making her head hurt as the side effect.
She grinned at Taylor.
"What?" Taylor asked nervously. She stopped walking and so did he, "Jade, I know that smile..." He started. "What is it?" He questioned cautiously.
Jade laughed and shoved him out onto the street. "TAG!" She screamed before she took off running.
Taylor laughed also, and started running after her. "Uh oh, now you're gonna get it!" He screamed at her laughing his head off.
Eva lay on the couch in Jonny's room. He slowly walked up to her. "Jonny, there's something I must tell you." Eva said as she got up and Jonny sat down.
"Something I must tell you." Jonny said as Eva laid her head in his lap and he placed his hand on her forehead.
"I'm going first." Eva smiled up at him, "Taylor broke up with me. Now you don't have to worry about that."
Jonny looked down at her and swallowed hard.
“What?” Eva asked curiously worried.
“I’ve gotta go to New York.” Jonny sighed.
She sat straight up, her eyes wide and fiery, “WHAT?”
“I.... “Jonny started.
“I HEARD WHAT YOU SAID!” Eva jumped up.
“Eva, Calm down... baby, please...” Jonny softly grabbed her arm.
“No.” Eva shook her head, Jonny stood up and grabbed her and forced her to his body and held her there as he softly placed his lips upon hers.
As Jonny slowly pulled back he kissed her again. This time as she pulled back she stared in his eyes and slapped him, leaving four red streaks across his face. She walked away, Jonny slowly touched his red cheek.
“I love you....” He said to her, for the first time, as she walked out the door.
Eva entered the room and didn’t find Jade. She slowly looked down at the small bottle she carried in her hand she shook it making a small rattle.
She looked over at the small cup of water on the table she sat on the edge of the bed, opened the bottle and swallowed half of the contents. In less than fifteen minutes she was unconscious lying on the bed.
Taylor was busily tapping away at his laptop when the phone rang insistently. "What?!" He growled into the phone.
He was silent for a moment. "Jonny, what makes you think I want to talk to you??" He questioned harshly.
"Good, good-bye." Taylor replied after a moment. "Hope to never see you again."
"WHAT?!" He shouted.
He sat on the edge of his bed. Not remembering his laptop anymore. "Jade's gonna track ya down and whoop your ass big time for that." He commented.
"No, you tell her. I don't talk to her anymore."
Taylor sighed. "Fine." He muttered. "GOOD-BYE!" He shouted before he slammed the phone down.
"Dumb, mother f-" He started as he walked across the hallway and jerked open Jade and Eva's hotel room door.
He looked around and saw Eva on the bed asleep. Guilt wrenched in his chest and he slowly backed out of the room.
Standing outside the door, he thought for a moment. Then anger boiled inside him and his eyes flashed of red.
Angrily and frustrated he stalked back in and went over to the sleeping figure. He started shaking her.
And shaking her. "Eva!" He shouted loudly as he continued to shake her.
It was then he saw the bottle. Almost half empty. He freaked out then.
"Uh, Eva?" Taylor asked as harshly as he could maybe not meaning to, "EVA, WAKE UP! WHAT THE HELL..."
Zac then appeared in the doorway. "Is something..." He trailed off when he saw Taylor scoop up Eva's body.
"ZAC, CALL 911!" Taylor screeched.
Zac stood there mortified, staring at the body as it hung over Taylor's arms like a sheet.
"DAMNIT, ZAC! CALL 911!" Taylor's voice broke.
Not knowing what to do he stood there looking around praying. He looked down at his feet and saw a small bottle he looked more closely at a pill that laid beside it.
“Valium.” He said in a low whisper.
"Why the hell did this happen... " Taylor growled at himself as in a few minutes he heard sirens.
Jade raced up the steps with Isaac close behind.
"What's going on here?" Jade asked as she saw Zac and Taylor sitting on the bed.
Taylor with his head in his hands and Zac biting his nails.
Taylor shot up and Jade looked around quickly then ran out the door and after the paramedics.
"She's not going to catch them." Taylor whispered as he shook his head as if in a daze.
Isaac looked him over. Making sure that him and Zac were all right.
"She'll catch them." He said weakly. Knowing that something had happened to Eva, but what really happened, he didn't know.
