Eva rolled over and looked at Jade, through the darkness.
“Yeah Casey. Really?” Jade sat straight up, “He said Yes? Great! Okay I will. See ya there.” Jade slowly hung up the phone.
“What is it?” Eva asked slowly.
Jade sighed, “I got good news that’s really bad news.”
“What?” Eva looked at her with wide eyes.
“That was Casey.”
“Yeah?”
“She talked with Lang Boy’s manager, and they agreed to do the song.”
Eva jumped up excited, “THAT’S GREAT!” Then all expressions left her face, “When?” she asked slowly.
“We gotta leave tomorrow.” Jade sighed.
“Oh god.” Eva softly commented, “They’ll understand. They’re in the biz, they know what goes on.”
“Let’s hope so.”
Eva walked up to the door, then Jade. Her lip trembled as Eva rang the doorbell.
The door slowly opened, Jade sighed as Avery stuck her head out the door.
“Hey!” Avery smiled as she opened the door more to let the two girls in.
“Hey, Avie. It’s kinda important that we speak to the guys.” Jade commented looking around.
“Okay.” Avery said as she raced back down the hall.
After a few seconds Isaac followed by Taylor came down, smiling, which tore the girls up more.
“Hey.” Isaac said with open arms.
“Hey yourself,” Jade smiled as she hugged him.
Taylor quickly wrapped his arms around Eva and pressed his lips to hers, “I missed you.”
“Taylor, stop, don’t.” Eva turned away after a few seconds.
“What? Why?” Taylor asked confused.
“We have to be at the airport by two-thirty-five.” Jade said slowly.
Isaac stepped back from her, “What do you mean?” He asked just as slowly as Jade talked.
“L. A. We have to go to L. A.” Eva said looking at Isaac.
“Why? What for?” Taylor asked quickly.
“We’re recording a new song, with Jonny Lang.” Jade smiled.
“And you have to go today.” Taylor reasoned.
“We have to record on his time.” Jade said, “We’ve been asking him to do this forever.”
“It’s L.A. Huh?” Isaac said thinking.
“Yeah, we’ve gotta leave in four hours.” Eva sighed.
Eva and Jade walked by each other in the airport. Then Jade looked back and stopped.
“Gotta wait for the retards.” She said smiling happily.
Eva laughed, stopped, and looked back.
Taylor, Isaac and Zac rushed through the airport to catch up.
“If you make us late...” Eva smiled.
“I’ll be really sorry.” Taylor answered.
"Casey!” Eva smiled after they got their bags.
“Johnny’s wanting to met you two.” Casey said as she hugged Shana.
“Well Johnny’s just gonna have to wait.” Jade said as she looked behind her.
Zac walked up, smiling, “They’re slow.”
“Zac, we noticed.” Eva sighed.
Zac laughed.
“Well, what do you know? Hanson.” Casey smiled.
“Yeah, we adopted them.” Jade stated rolling her eyes.
Eva walked into the hotel followed by Jade.
“Well we have less than an hour till our dinner with Lang boy.” Eva smiled.
“You're not going to call him that to his face are you?” Jade asked as she threw her suitcase onto her bed.
“What’s wrong with Lang Boy?” Eva thought out loud.
“Nothing, it would just be nicer if you called him Jonny.” Jade shrugged.
Eva nodded, “Hey, is uhhh Hanson coming?”
“I believe so.” Jade nodded.
“Well here we go.” Jade said as she placed her hand on the door of the Planet Hollywood.
Jade walked in, then Isaac, then Zac and Eva and Taylor were last.
Jade started looking around. The music was loud Jade turned back at Eva and smiled, Eva nodded with a smirk as the guitar solo played.
“You know it hard as hell coming up with that.” Eva laughed.
“I know I’m just glad I wasn’t the one playing it.” Jade smiled as she stood on her toes and looked around.
A frantic waitress walked up, “A table for five?”
“Umm Well we were supposed to met some one here.” Eva smiled.
“Oh, Uhhh Who?” The waitress asked with a smirk.
“Umm Jonny Lang? Is he here yet?” Jade asked looking around.
“Oh, yes. This way.” The waitress led them to the table.
“Hey man.” Isaac said.
Jonny Lang looked up, then smiled. "Well, what are you three doing here?” He asked as he stood up.
“Nothing much, we’re just following them.” Taylor said as he put his arm around Eva.
“Well, please sit down.” Jonny offered.
The group sat at the round booth.
“So this is Wishful Thinking.”
Eva and Jade nodded.
“We’ve wanted do a song with you ever since you came out, we’re pretty big fans.” Jade smiled.
“We love your music.” Eva replied as she nodded her head in agreement with Jade.
“Hey I like what I’m hearing,” Jonny said pointing to the ceiling referring to the music playing.
The girls smiled.
“Thanks.” Eva said as she looked at Taylor as he placed his arm around her again.
“So who’s the guitarist of the band?” Jonny answered.
“It varies.” Jade answered, “But on this song it’s Eva.”
Eva smiled as Jonny looked at her, she leaned back on Taylor.
“I’m starving how about you?” He asked.
Everyone nodded.
“Well,” Jonny placed his hands on the table, “Let’s order.” He stated.
“How’d you get your mom and dad to let you come to L.A. by yourself?” Jade asked.
“I just told her that I’ll be turning eighteen very soon and if they let us do this then it could show them how much trust they can put into me.” Isaac explained nonchalantly.
Jade nodded, “Nice parents.”
“Yeah I know, sometimes I think they’re a little too nice.... but that’s okay.” Isaac smiled.
“So you glad you came?” Jade asked smiling.
“Now that I’m with you.” Isaac smiled.
“Taylor you're being an asshole.” Eva yelled at him.
“Yes, you were. That little laugh you gave him and every time he looked over at you, you smiled at him! You were on EVERY word that came out of his mouth.” Taylor said as he neared Eva.
Eva stood there smiling, “You are so blind! I was just trying to be nice! Besides he has a girlfriend!”
“He didn’t seem to worry about her tonight!” Taylor mocked getting up in her face, “Beside the last thing I heard was they broke up!”
“What does that have to do with a whale shitting in the ocean?” Eva said as she walked away from Taylor.
“You were flirting with him, and he wasn’t helping that sense either! Little Miss ‘I Just Get Into It!’”
“I’d rather be Little Miss ‘I Just Get Into It’ than 'Little Miss Asshole!' ” Eva came back.
Taylor just shook his head, “FINE! I GIVE UP!”
He walked back into his room, but before slammed the door he commented, “You were flirting!”
Eva growled loudly.
