In the weeks that followed a lot changed for Alex. She and Zac played games together, Taylor helped her with homework, and Isaac and her read the same books and discussed them with each other. She loved it. Her brothers were including her in things now. It wasn’t any longer the boys, and the others and Alex.
Now it was the boys and Alex. Although they did music without her, they did include her in everything else. Plus Isaac, Taylor, and Zac had encouraged her to write. And as a birthday present, a collection of her short stories was published. And she got to appear on Leno while her brother's sat backstage and watched with pride.
