'It must have been cold there in my shadow. To never have sunlight on your face. You've always been content to let me shine. You've always walked one step behind. I was the one with all the glory, while you were the one with all the strength. Only a face without a name, and I never once heard you complain. Did you ever know that you're my hero, and everything that I'd like to be. I can fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings. You might have thought it went unnoticed. But I've got it all here in my heart. I want you to know I know the truth, that I would be nothing without you. Did you ever know that you're my hero, and everything that I'd like to be. I can fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings.'

Isaac could feel his heart constrict painfully inside of his chest. Sucking in choppy breaths he forced himself to move his feet. Faster. Each hard step reverberated into his brain, matching his blood pumping and heart thumping.

Knocking into the door, it slammed against the wall. Leaving a half moon shape hole in the wall behind it. He looked down in the frightened faces of his family.

He took a deep breath to try and calm down, but it didn't work. The words rushed out before he could think about them, or even try and stop them. "What are you doing?" The jumbled mass that fell from his mouth was loud and brutal, causing eyes to tear and faces to fall.

"What's wrong, Daddy? We were just practicing a new song." Angel answered softly, her voice barely a whisper.

He stalked into the room and grabbed up the music sheets. Clenching it in his hand he shook it at them, "Where did you get this?"

"Uncle Tay set it out for us, Daddy." Charm weakly replied this time, tears already cascading her pink cheeks.

His wild gaze settled on Zoë, as he grated out, "This is not a song for you to sing!"

The paper crumpled in his fist as he breathed raggedly, as if he'd just run mile in six seconds.

Feeling the blood pound in his head he clenched his teeth tighter together and stormed out, the door slamming behind him in a loud bang.

The trio of young girls jumped at the corrupted moment that was just shattered.

Angel looked up at Charm and Zoë, she sniffled loudly before wiping at her eyes with the backs of her knuckles. "What'd we do wrong?"

Zoë shook her head as Charm crawled over and hugged Angel to her side protectively. Tears cascading down her cheeks as well. "I don't know…"

They each turned to stare at the door, and the angry mark on the wall. "God, I don't know." She breathed out quietly.
