Chapter One

Justice smiled as she took out an old book, a diary, tears filled her eyes as she opened it.

“I... can’t believe… TAYLOR!” Justice called.

“What!” Taylor yelled back as he walked in the room.

“Come here, look at this…” Justice said looking down at the book.

“What is it?” He asked taking the book.

Justice opened it for him, “It’s my diary, it’s about Joel.”

Taylor smiled slightly, “I thought we got rid of it.”

“Well, we didn’t,” Justice looked at him.

Taylor’s face went blank, hurt swelled in his eyes, “That was three years ago...”

“I miss her Justice,” He stated as a tear slid down his face.

“So do I,” Justice sighed.

Taylor opened the book and began reading.

“Emerald! Help me move this box!” Justice yelled across the small apartment, as she tried lifting the box filled with their stuff.

“I can’t!” Emerald said as she entered the apartment. She was helping Zac and Ike carry in a huge box.

Justice kicked the box frustrated, it was hot, everyone was tired and she had a horrid headache.

“It doesn’t solve anything if ya get mad at it.” Taylor said as he walked up to the box and bent down.

“Come on, the count of three,” Justice bent down and looked back up at Taylor for the signal, “One, two, three.”

They lifted the box and carried it back to the farthest room.

Emerald smiled as she saw the two enter the room. “Hey Ike, didn’t you say that Taylor liked her?”

“Yeah,” Ike smiled, “Why?”

“Just askin.” She said turning her attention to the stand.

“Where do you want this?” Tay asked.

“Over there the far corner.” Justice smiled.

They strained to carry it over to the corner by the window. They both sighed in relief as they put the box down.

“Thanks,” Justice nodded as she looked around.

“No problem,” He said smiling.

“Are we almost done?” Justice looked at him.

He nodded, “Yep, a few more boxes and we’ll be in here.”

“Come on, then let’s get it over with.” Justice said heading towards the door.

She walked by him and without even thinking, he grabbed her arm. She spun around and looked at him.

“Hold on.” Taylor sighed, “There’s something I gotta say.”

Justice smiled, hoping it was what she thought. Something that she had been wanting him to say, “What is it?” She smiled.

“I ... like, I like yooooour... I like your shirt.” He forced out; “I like your shirt.”

She looked down at her shirt; “It’s just an old T-shirt.”

“But I like it, it makes your eyes stand out.” He said before he released her.

She smiled and walked out the door shaking her head, ‘He’s insane.’ she thought.

“Perfect, just great Jordan, keep it. She really likes ya now, you stupid retard.” Taylor said as he slammed his head against the wall, then he smiled and walked out the room like nothing happened.

Emerald walked behind Justice, “What happened?” Emerald asked as a small smile played on her lips.

“Taylor told me he liked my shirt, it was kinda funny though I felt sorry for him, cause he had such a hard time saying it.” Justice said as she stepped upon the truck and grabbed the smallest box.

Emerald held out her arms to Justice. Justice placed the box in her arms.

“What went on in there after Justice came out we heard a loud thump.” Zac smiled as they walked out the door and walked to the truck.

“I tried to tell her, it’s not working man, I ended up complimenting her shirt.” Taylor sighed to his brothers.

Justice walked past Taylor and smiled, Taylor smiled back and not watching where he was going her ran into the side of the truck. She laughed as she looked behind her to see the scene.
