Chapter #12

Randy stretched out on her very own bed. She smiled at the thought of being back in Pennsylvania for a few days. She giggled happily and she shoved her face into her pillow. It was going to be awesome!

She already had a plan and sat up straight on her bed to get them to work.

There was a tapping on her door when she started grabbing for the phone. “Come in!” She called out, picking up the receiver.

Dahven grinned as she stepped inside. Followed by Kim, Amanda, and Lindsay holding Angel. “Thought you might enjoy some company.” She said laughing.

Squealing, Randy jumped off her bed and tackled her friends in a group hug. Being careful not to squish Angel. “I was just about to call you guys!” She screamed.

Lindsay wriggled her finger in her ear. “Damn, girl. Calm down.” She said laughing. “You’re getting worse than me.”

“Yeah, right.” Amanda stated, rolling her eyes. “Like that’s possible.”

Lindsay shrugged as Kim laughed. “Stranger things have happened.” Lindsay muttered defiantly lifting her chin up.

Kim nodded. “That’s true.”

Randy grinned. “God would not be foolish enough to make more than one Linz.” She replied.

“Okay, I’m gonna agree with Randy on that one. Though I don’t know you extremely well, Linz. I know you well enough.” Dahven said laughing. “God isn’t that cruel to man-kind.”

“Yeah, it was bad enough he made just one of ya!” Amanda shouted.

“He didn’t make just one of me.” Lindsay said pouting.

“Who else did he make?” Dahven asked curiously, as they all started getting comfortable in Randy’s room. She took the still sleeping Angel from her.

Lindsay grinned, then shrugged. “Zac Hanson of course.” She said rolling her eyes as if it was the most obvious thing on earth.

“Hey, Zac.” Isaac called as he ran down the steps.

Zac popped up form the couch with silly string can in his hand, and his finger on the nozzle. “Beware man.” He warned in a serious tone. “I have had a very bad day.”

Isaac had stopped running, and was now staring at his younger brother. “What happened?” He asked curiously.

Sighing, Zac flopped down on the couch, and threw the can at him. “It’s empty anyways.” He muttered. Placing his hands on his face he started talking incoherently.

“Zac, I can’t hear a word you’re saying.” Isaac said as he sat down on the couch next to him.

Removing his hands, Zac looked up at him. “Tay and I fought over something in the kitchen… and we continued fighting. We were just playing around.” He defended.

Isaac sighed softly to himself. This was not going well.

Zac sighed as well, he leaned over the side of the couch and showed Isaac the remains of one of their mother’s old favorite lamps.

“Uh, oh.” Isaac breathed.

“Uh, oh.” Zac repeated hanging his head.

“What did mom and dad say?” He asked as he took a broken piece and it broke more in his hand. Instantly he put it back. Not wanting to break it more.

“Dad already knows… and mom is still out with the girls.” Zac confessed quietly.

Isaac placed his hand on his shoulder. “What are you going to tell her?”

Zac looked up at him. “The truth.” He replied. “Aliens came down and attempted to beat Tay and I up, and we had to use this to defend ourselves.”

“Yeah, she’ll go for that one.” Isaac said smiling. “Again.”

“I know.” Zac said chuckling lightly.

Just then they heard the van pull up.

Zac groaned and pt his head back in his hands. “They always show when you don’t want them to.”

Isaac laughed and stood up. “Don’t worry man, she should go easy on you this time. That one was from Aunt Rachel.” He explained.

“Too bad it wasn’t from Uncle Robert.” He muttered as he stood up and went to open the door for his family… and his punishment.

“Why couldn’t I have a real clone?” He asked himself out loud. “I’d sure love for him to be in my spot right about now…” He trailed off as he slung open the door.

Then he smiled to himself… then started grinning. “Mom!” He called as she started unloading kids from the automobile. “You won’t believe what Tay and Ike did!”
