This is a story of three beings that were hollow shells of life. Each with one thing in common, to be as important, as talented, and as well loved as "the others".
   It was simple really, and heartbreaking. For Nothing wanted to be something, but when compared to "the others" they knew they'd always be nonexistence. Worthless humans that knew "the others" accomplishments were so far advanced that there was virtually nothing left for them to do.
   Emptiness tried so hard to be as beautiful, and as perfect as "the others" were. That they literally emptied themselves in their quest. Always forcing one more try, that they pushed themselves to great lengths and yet won naught. There was no substance to them anymore, just emptiness, a shell.
   Shadows was exactly that. Shadows to "the others". Following in their footsteps, or trying to. Mimicking and shadowing those who were so high in their mind. So desperate for the acknowledgement, that compliment of being "just like them" that they had forsaken the possibility of being just themselves.
