Sabrina II

After dinner at his parent's house Taylor went to Mary’s. He knocked on the door and she opened it all smiles.

“Taylor!” She said and wrapped her arms around him.

He hugged her back as tightly. “Hi, Mary.”

“Come on in.” She said breaking the hug and grabbing his hand and dragging him inside her house.

“So how are you doing? The last time you called you sounded concerned about something. Want something to drink?”

“Have any orange juice?”

“Sure. So what was up with you?” She asked while getting a glass and the juice.

“A lot. I’ve been thinking.”

“Taylor, I hate those words coming out of your mouth. That generally means that you are considering a life altering experience.” She said with worry in her eye. She handed Taylor his glass of juice and sat next to him.

He sipped the juice and looked at her. “Well, it’s about us.” He began.

Mary looked even more concerned. “Go on.” She said patting his knee.

“Well, I was thinking that we aren’t getting any younger.” He laughed slightly and drank the rest of the juice. “And I want kids and I don’t want to be a fifty-year-old father.”

His eyes met hers. “I was wondering if you would be my wife?” He asked quietly.

Mary’s concern melted her face cracked into a huge smile. “Yes, I would love to be your wife.”

Taylor smiled in relief. He hugged her. ‘I was so worried that you were going to ask to split up I thought that you were never going to ask me to marry you.”

“Well…”

“Shhh. Don’t worry about it. Come on let’s go in the other room. I rented a sappy movie to watch.”

“Okay.” He said with a smile and followed her to the living room.
