'Untitled'

She stood before him; her eyes wide with wonder and fear that seemed to radiating from her every pore. He returned her intense gaze, as they stood before one another in the brisk air. No words were spoken; no words were needed to be spoken.
She was the first to tear her eyes away from his soulful brown ones, for she feared the longer she stared into his beautiful eyes she would lose the control she had prided herself upon and was rapidly starting to slip out of her grasp. She had never met anyone who had such an effect upon her that the mere sight of him brought her to tears, or the beauty of the simple way he spoke her name in a hushed whisper was enough to make her body quiver in response. He had brought the girl who had swore never cried at movies, despised romance, and hated men with every ounce of her being, and made her love.
Although she fought it for she feared the hurt that would come along with it and she feared he would leave her hurt and alone and feeling worthless, she couldn't fight it. She gave up the flight a long time ago, when she lost herself in his warm embrace, his soft touch and his beautiful voice. He loved the way he just made her feel beautiful, without even having to say so, the way his eyes swept over her in appreciation, or the way he softly held her hand, simple gestures that made her feel as if she were sitting on top of the world.
   And he was leaving.
When she first heard the news she didn't no how to take it, she felt her world slowly slip away from her and she cried. She hated herself then. Hated herself for letting him sweep her off her feet and make her feel wonderful, hated herself because she had turned to a sap, but hated herself the most because she knew she craved it.
So now she stood before him, a mere few minutes before he would walk out of her life. Although, it wasn't forever, it felt like the few months would be an eternity without him. It was incredibly cold that day, but she didn't feel the cold, she didn't feel anything, just a numbness that would enrapture her body until her returned to their world.
When she felt him embrace her, she wanted to shrug him off. She couldn't do this, and his touch was only making it harder, but she let him anyway. And they stayed that way for quite some time, just wrapped around one another for the last few moments before he left.
"I have to go," He whispered softly into her ear. She knew, and slowly she nodded.
It was he who broke down before she did. The tears leaked down his chin as a light tremble overtook his body. His trembling hand reached for her face as he trailed his shaking fingers down the side. "I'm going to miss you so much," he let out in a quivery breath. He pressed his moist lips against hers and she finally lost her control.
She sank into him as her hands clutched his black shirt and sobbed softly into his shoulder. She couldn't imagine these next few moments and she really didn't want to, right now she wanted to stay the way she was forever, clinging to him with such a passion that existed only for him.
"I have to go now," his voice wavered.
She only nodded, for she was at a loss for words as he slowly brushed his lips against hers one final time and softly pulled out of her embrace. With one last lingering look he turned and walked off.
She stood there watching him walk away into the setting sun until she could see him no longer. The tears had ceased their trip down her flushed cheeks as she felt a warm comforting feeling set over her heart and she realized she could survive this with each step she took. She stood there for a long time, just watching the beautiful colors of the late October sunset streak the sky in splashes of red and violet as she prepared herself for the feeling of loneliness that awaited her, but she didn't want to let go of him just yet and therefore she stood upon the descended leaves from the trees above.
He had impacted her life in such a way that she couldn't possibly find the words for how much he truly meant to her. He had opened up a girl who felt that she was ugly and coldhearted, and made her feel beautiful and loving. They were feelings she never could imagine having, feelings that she now had to do without for the time being. But she knew him, he would make them survive this little time apart, for he was all she had to live for and he was what made her whole.
