RAIN

Pitter patter on the ground,
Dancing raindrops all around.
Coming from the endless sky,
Coming from the clouds up high.

Showering Mother Earth below,
Allowing life to blossom and grow.
A refreshing drink in need for all,
Nature's answer to out call.

Listen to the river roar,
Wanting, yearning, crying for more.
Splashing, crashing against the rocks,
The tremendous force gives quite a shock.

Suddenly the sun shines through,
Rays of brightness change the view.
Drying all the rain has done,
Inviting warmth and light to come.

Puddles start to disappear,
But don't you worry, have no fear.
Just wait until another day,
When the rain comes back to play.
