Lucknow : The City of Nawabs

Lucknow is the most beautiful city of Indian state of U.P. Lucknow is presently, the fastest growing city in India and the seventh largest city in India, with a burgeoning population of more than one million. It is also the capital of the Indian state of U.P. Thanks to the growing influx of foreign nationals and also north Indians, Lucknow has now become a "global cultural melting pot" of sorts. It is a perfect blend of the rustic and the modern, a union of different cultures and peoples. However, there is also a negative side to this growth and development in the way that Lucknow is losing its beauty. As it moves towards becoming a larger metropolitan, its also becoming an uglier one.
While it continues to be known as the King's City of India. Today, it is also acknowledged as the Kings City. Whatever it may be, Lucknow is still sounds "Home" to me. But at this moment I'm in Houston, Texas (United States)
