Narooma
Originally 'noorooma' , from the Aboriginal word meaning 'clear blue water'

The town lies 350km south of Sydney on the Princes Highway.

Local attractions are mostly natural with surfing and family friendly beaches, numerous fishing locations, both beach and inlet, and picnic spots abound in the surrounding state forests and National Parks.

Rock oysters, big game fishing and tourism are the main industries of Narooma.
