I must have too much time on my hands because I have done a lot of thinking about faster than light communication and travel. As it stands now we believe nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. Indeed if you know anything of Einsteins theories, you know this has been proven in theory. But there is a way around this problem that will not violate any of Einsteins laws or relativity. I believe the reason light speed can not be reached by physical objects is there is some "things" light has to move though, even in a complete vacuum that limits its speed. If we take an air tight chamber and pumped all the air and pressure out of it so nothing in that chamber, there would still be some "thing" there. And it is that thing that limits the speed of light. Light, I believe, can travel a great deal faster if it were no for this interference. If we can find a way to by pass this thing, and work in sub space, passing the speed of light will be no problem.
