Panda sat at the kitchen table. Her parents were at work. The house was quite. She suddenly wished Katie was there. She was still in Europe touring museums with her art club. The doorbell rang.
"Great company. I should really stop talking to myself."
The face on the other side was one she was not expecting.
"Katie, your back early."
"Yeah I wrote Ike he told me all this stuff that has been happening and decided I would leave early. Just one thing."
"What?"
"My parents are off on their 4th honeymoon so I need a place to stay. Do you mind if I stay here?"
"No not at all. How is Ike? They won't let me see him and I feel so guilty considering that I was driving the vehicle."
"The doctors don't understand it him living was a miricle and now he is well enought that he can come home in 3 days."
"Wow I'm gald he is ok."
"Yeah me to."
They were both starteled when Raine walked in the door.
"Hey Panda I'm back."
"Where's Jan?"
"With her dad."
"Taylor?"
"No the pope."
"Ummm...Panda who is this?" Katie was confused by now.
"Oh I forgot Katie this is Raine and Raine this is Katie. She is the one that dated Zac but they broke up."
"Hi."
"Raine, I know when I dated Zac he said something about you."
"I'm the one who had a baby when I was 13."
"Oh ok guess that clears that up."
"What did Taylor do?"
"Panda it was so weird. At first he was shocked then Jan sat in his lap and asked him if he loved her and they just clicked."
"How did Rodrigo take it?"
"Not well. It was nice to meet you Katie but I need to go pick Jan up and go home. Oh Pand do you think you could watch Jan for a few hours tommorrow? Me and Taylor need to talk alone."
"Yeah sure no problem."
"Thanks so much."
