As I sit here numb from head to toe, not knowing what to do, or where to go. I have lost my HERO! The one man I had to look up to! I have shead many a tear, because he was o so close to my heart, true and dear! I longed to watch his racing style, it never failed to give me a smile!
O how I hurt, knowing my HERO will never race again! I can feel nothing, nothing but pain! He longed for that ellusive 8th Championship, he got it! He earned that Championship with his life! He alway's said that Daytona was not the Daytona 499, but the Daytona 500, Well, in his last ride, it was the the Daytona 499! Maybe I am wrong to many, but to me, I am not! Dale Earnhardt was, and always be my driver! My HERO! So Yes, he did die a WARRIOR! He fought to the bitter sweet end! Doing what he loved, and doing it in style! And you can bet he had that intimidating smile! Knowing that he had a Son, and a Friend ahead, to take that checkerd flag, while he held off the field with nothing to be said!

This is a Fan Page of our favorite Nascar driver, Dale Earnhardt! We have been die hard Earnhardt fans since 1979, the same year he was named Rookie of the Year. There have been ups and downs and even some upside downs in his career, but he continues to keep us on the edge of our seats, week after week. He has earned himself nic names like "Iron Head", "Intimidator", "Dominator", and "Master of the Draft", from his fans and his fellow competitors. He broke the rules,
he topped the charts,
but it took one race,
to break our hearts!

With a wink and smile,
Dale began the race.
We marveled at his,
speed and grace!

They say he never crossed the finish line,
that he died on impact,
it was just his time.

Well truth be told,
a line was crossed,
no life is wasted,
no life is lost,
For there is a place,
where the angels cheer,
our conquering hero,
walks a Champion there.
