Down by the shore I stand in a daze
Overseeing what my Lord gave me today
The gentle breeze of the sea brushes across my face
The gentle touch of my Savior's hand

I am in a whirlwind of delight
Knowing that He has given me life
I wonder what I did that makes Him love me so
His gentle touch surrounds my soul

I travel to the mountain side to visit my King
He waits for me to bring Him my needs
There we sit beside the still stream
Visiting like we have many times before

He ask me, child what can I do for you today?
I reply, just hold me tight and show me
what I can do for you today?
He smiles and says, just show my love to everyone

They Gave Their Lives

There were two cousins that walked this land
Spreading the Word of God throughout this land
One cousin was locked up and then beheaded
for what he believed
The other was captured and nailed to a tree
for He was the Son of God

The message of God they both proclaimed
Never giving up what they believed
But gave their lives for us to receive
A new life in Christ Jesus salvation full and free
and live with Him for eternity

Captured does not mean here
that Christ was "running" for He was not He was waiting
for them to come get Him. Captured means to seize, to take prisoner,
taken, synonym for capture is arrest, apprend, seize. Just needed clarafication
for some readers that are thinking this says Christ was "running"
when He was taken. He was sitting waiting patiently! This event
was foretold in the bible for what was going to happen, this is
in the Old Testament.
