New Jerusalem
He walked the road to Jerusalem
He walked and talked among men
He healed the lame and blind man
And called them by their names
He walked along the mountainside
He seen the suffering die
He heard the voice of God that day
And went to kneel and pray
He walked upon the waters
He fed the multitude
He turned the water into wine
And set the captives free
He's calling out to you and me
To come and follow him
To live with Him forevermore
In New Jerusalem
He felt the lashes on His back
He felt the nails in His hands
The roman soldier pierced His side
But He'd already died
They laid Him in a garden tomb
and blocked it with a stone
Three days had passed and He rose that day
To set His people free
He's calling out to you and me
To come and follow Him
To live with Him forevermore
In New Jerusalem
In New Jerusalem
In New Jerusalem
