1)Saturday 4-24-99 Paragon (33 cars) Qualified: 4th Heat Race: Start-8th Finish-3rd Feature: Start-5th Finish-6th Comments: Got involved in an accident in the feature, and had to go to the tail. Then work way back up through the pack, but ran out of time.
2)Saturday 5-1-99 Putnamville (30 cars) Qualified: 14th Heat Race: Start- 2nd Finish-1st Feature: Start-11th Finish-4th Comments: Qualified poorly due to lacking track conditions, however turned around and won the heat race by over a straightaway. In the feature started 11th, and by the time we made it up to 4th the leaders were a straightaway ahead, but I managed to reel them in, but lost track of time, and the race ended.
3)Friday 5-7-99 Bloomington (26 cars) Qualified: 15th (within .3) Heat Race: Start-2nd Finish-5th Feature: Start-15th Finish-15th Comments: "What can I say, I can't qualify." Other than that we missed the track in the heat race, and went straight back but managed to transfer. Then lost the brakes in the feature completely, got them fixed on a red flag and had made it up to 8th, but quit thinkin and over shot the corner and fell to the back.
4)Saturday 5-8-99 >USAC< Terre Haute (40+ cars) Qualified: 34th (within .8) Non-Qualifiers Race: Start-2nd Finish-1st Heat Race: Start-9th Finish-6th B-Main: Start-19th Finish-8th Feature: Missed by two positions. Comments: "I promise tonight was the last night I let qualifying get the best of me!" On the other hand I got alot of track time, won the Non-qualifier by a straigtaway. Ran good in the heat, and show some very impressive tatics while taking on the the crowd in the B-main.
5)Friday 5-14-99 Bloomington (26 cars) Qualified: 7th (within .2) Heatrace: Start-4th Finish-3rd Feature: Start-1st Finish-9th Comments: Took off in the first 8 laps of the feature, but then there was a red flag. I made the call for a shock change, which was wrong. Car was a rocket up top, but I could get ahold of squat down low. Not to mention I was hung up on the high side behing a car that had slowed, and basically got freighttrained.
6)Saturday 5-15-99 Putnamville (32 cars) Qualified: 11th (within .2) Heatrace: Start-4th Finish-4th Feature: Start-9th Finish-9th Comments: Qualified better than expected, however in order to make show without running the semi pulled an amazing slide job on the last lap of the heatrace. Missed the set up in the feature, had the car too tight to move down low to pass, and kinda just rode around the entire time in that same position.
7) Saturday 5-22-99 Haubstadt (18 cars) Qualified: 10th (within .3) Heatrace: Start-2nd Finish-6th Feature: Start-10th Finish-12th Comments: Whats can I put here, I mean before qualifying I got one lap, which was the first lap I ever ran with a wing. So it was a definate learning experience!
8) Saturday 5-29-99 Redhill (18 cars) Qualified: 16th (out in left field) Heatrace: Start-6th Finish-4th Feature: Start-15th Finish-11th Comments: It really isn't even imaginable, the differnece that little piece of aluminum they call wings can make to a car, I am really learning. Its a whole new ballgame.
9) Sunday 5-30-99 Haubstadt (22 cars) Qualified: 5th (within .2) Heatrace: RAINED OUT Feature: RAINED OUT Comments: RAINED OUT.....RAINED OUT.....RAINED OUT
10) Saturday 6-5-99 Paragon (31 cars) Qualified: 1st (.3 faster) Heatrace: Start-10th Finish-6th Feature: Start-6th Finish-1st Comments: Brakes went out in the heat, or would have more than likely won it also.....pedal fell off more or less...other than that it was an excellent night. Jan started out, he ran really well for his first time in a non-wing sprint. His brakes went out in the feature and he was forced to pull off. He has gained 9 positions prior.
11) Wednesday 6-9-99 Pevely (36 cars) Qualified: Drew and then got passing points. Heatrace: Start-6th Finish-3rd Feature: Start-14th Finish-12th Comments: Fast in heat race, once I got to third, leaders had a straightaway advantage...then I pulled them in..but got stuck with a lapped car as I moved low to pass them. Feature was up to 8th or 9th, but car went away bad, had wrong tire on, and not enough weight transfer...misread the track.
12) Friday 6-11-99 Bloomington (26 cars) Qualified: 3rd (within .05) Heatrace: Start-6th Finish-2nd Feature: Start-4th Finish-5th Comments: Got shuffled back on the start, and was caught on the outside, fell to about 9 or 10 but then got it together and gained the positions all the way back to 5th place, track turned to one groove around bottom, and went nose to tail the rest the way.
13) Saturday 6-12-99 Putnamville >Put Clash< (45+ cars) Qualified: 9th (within .3) Heatrace: Start-5th Finish-1st Trophy Dash: Start-3rd Finish-3rd Feature: Start-1st Finish-2nd Comments: Got a little lesson in starts at the features beginning feel to fourth, and then got settled in and started to race but forward, made it back into second on the 10th lap..right behind Rusty McClure. Red Flag on lap 18, when we went back racing, got around McClure, but got into the corner a little hot, he came back around on the outside and we ran side-by-side up until the white flag. I tried to make a move to the top to get a run on him so I could pull a slide in 3 and 4, but I didn't make it, and finished just under a car length behind him in 2nd.
14) 6-17-99 Thursday Terre Haute >USAC< (42 cars) Qualified: 7th (within .3) Heatrace: Start-8th Finish-4th Feature: Start-2nd Finish-13th Comments: Got over the cushion on the start, after being helped a little by a unknown #5 car.....and fell back to where I finished...pretty much a one line deal.
15)6-19-99 Saturday Terre Haute >USAC< (73 cars) Qualified: Thursday 7th Ran 8th in the A main, started 15th.

17)7-3-99 Saturday Putnamville (44 cars) Qualified: 15th (within .4) Heatrace: Start-4th Finish-3rd Feature: Start-11th Finish-9th Comments: Was running in 7th on the 3rd lap...but spun like an idiot,which put me to the tail (20th). Then I worked back to 9th before the end.
18)7-4-99 Sunday Haubstadt (31 cars) Qualified: 19th (don't ask) Heatrace: Start-3rd Finish-1st Feature: Start-17th Finish-11th Comments: No comments, it was a fun night..but the way they did the line up was crap..especially after winning the heat race!

22)7-18-99 Sunday Haubstadt (21 cars) Qualified: 6th (within .2) Heatrace: Start-1st Finish-3rd Feature: Start-3rd Finish-3rd Comments: Ran 3rd the entire race, but started getting excited at the end, and go in to 1 a little hot, and Carmichael got around me.
23)7-31-99 Saturday Paragon (42 cars) Qualified: 1st (by .5) Heatrace: Start-11th Finish-4th Feature: Start-6th Finish-2nd Comments: Patience is a Virtue, if I would have had some, I would have won.. I got excited twice and ran off the track and fell from the top 5 back in the pack and had to work back to the front, we had a lightning fast car compared to the others though, nothing could touch us.. only thing that could go wrong was driver brain fade.. and guess what, It DID!
24)Friday Chandler (10 cars) >wing< Qualified: 6th (within .1) Heatrace: Start-2nd Finish-2nd Feature: Start- 6th Finish-4th Comments: Had a fast car.. was reeling in the lead pack, and passed them then a yellow came out.. was the fastest.. or at least a second place car.. just the track went to one groove.
25)Saturday Putnamville (42 cars) Qualified: 9th (within .2) Heatrace: Start-4th Finish-2nd Feature: Start-9th Finish-13th Comments: In the feature was up to 4th, and all the sudden my shield fogged up.. all the vents in my helmet had clogged with mud.. UGH! if it wasn't for bad luck, I would have none at all.
26)Sunday Haubstadt (30 cars) Qualified: 1st (by .3) Dash: Start-1st Finish- 1st Feature: Start-1st Finish-1st Comments: Clean Sweep, Fast time, Led all 6 laps of the dash, and then led all 25 laps of the feature.
27)Thursday Gas City (47 cars) Drew for starting positions. Heatrace: Start-2nd Finish-1st Feature: Start-4th Finish-2nd Comments: There is nothing shameful running second to Jack Hewitt the man is in the Hall of Fame for pete's sake. Plus names like Tony Elliot, and Rusty McClure didn't even make the race.. and we were close to lapping Dave Darland.
28)Friday Bloomington (51 cars) Drew for starting positions. Heatrace: Start-7th Finish-4th Feature: Start-19th Finish-13th Comments: Car was quite the fast one, too much traffic to get through track only had two lines.. hehe.
29)Saturday Putnamville (54 cars) Drew for starting positions. Heatrace: Start-7th Finish-4th Feature: Started-13th Finish-9th Comments: Fell to about 17th, then moved to the top and moved up to 9th. Quite a good run.
30)Sunday Kokomo (31 cars) Drew for starting positions. Heatrace: Start-3rd Finish-4th Feature: Start-11th Finish-8th Comments: Up until the red on the 17th lap.. I was moving up quick, but the left rear tire sealed over and I lost three positions after being up to 5th.
31)Saturday Putnamville (40 cars) Qualified: 5th (within .3) Heatrace: Start-5th Finish-DNF B-Main: Start-1st Finish-1st Feature: Start-2nd Finish-2nd Comments: Got spun in the heat race, and was forced to pull off due to 2 spin rule. The car was fast though, was passing for the lead when I spun the first time. Then in the "B" I won by over a half a track, lapped up to 2nd place. Then in the feature was leading for 23 of 25 laps, there was a red on the 19 lap.. and the right rear tire bled off and the car got tight.. and I jumped the cushion and Jay Drake got around me.
32)Sunday Haubstadt (31 cars) Qualified: 15th (within .4) Heatrace: Start-1st Finish-3rd Feature: Start-13th Finish- 17th Comments: Was moving up.. by the 6th lap was up to 6th, from 13th. But then I caught a rut going into turn one, and bicycled the car.. it wasn't a big rut or anything but we had the car tight for later in the race.. and well it bit me.. I bicycled and then got in the wall a tad.. all that was hurt was one radius rod. I was on the way to winning, so we will call that the $2000 radius rod.
33)Saturday 9-11-99 Paragon (47 cars) No Qualifying Draw Heatrace: Start-7th Finish-3rd Feature: Start-3rd Finish-1st Comments:Played traffic conservatively, and it payed off in the end.. had the fastest car.. just wasn't quite as aggressive as some, but still won in the end.
34)Saturday 9-18-99 Terre Haute (31 cars) No Qualifying Draw Heatrace: Start-5th Finish-1st Feature: Start-4th Finish-3rd Comments: Lap three.. passing for the lead, slowing car on the backstretch, safety crews were waving their hands to slow. I just figured for a yellow flag when 6 or 7 cars went around me, oh yeah the yellow never fell.. so I had to race back to 3rd. At the end of the race my average lap speed was 3 mph faster than the winner.
35) Saturday 9-25-99 Lawrenceburg (32 cars) No Qualifying Draw Heatrace: Start-5th Finish-3rd Feature: Start-7th Finish-13th Comments: First trip to the "Burg". I had just noticed my car was working right in the middle of the track, and as I split Justin Marvel, and Jason Knoke coming from 7th to 5th, and was most likely going on up to the front to possibly battle with Derek. The only thing was some people haven't forgotten about the past, and they square up with your bumper and just spin you. So people are just stupid.
36) Sunday 10-16-99 Redhill (29 cars) No Qualifying Heatrace: Start-8th Finish-5th Feature: Start-17th Finish-8th Comments: A joke, they ran my heat the first heat the second night they were rained out, it started raining half way through my heat.. well they didn't re-run it.. then in the feature they let some new guys the hadn't been there the two prior nights come in and start, and well they clustered the field putting us in the back of the pack on a dry slick race track.
