*~Who designed your tattoos?~*
AJ: I designed them. I've got one on each shoulder, one on my back, and one on my left forearm.
*~Where did you get them done?~*
AJ: I got most of them done in Florida. A few were done in Germany
*~How long did they take?~*
AJ: It all depends in how big and detailed they are. The one on my right shoulder ("Da Bone") took an hour. Some take less.
*~Why do you like them?~*
AJ: Cause they're another form of artistic expression for me.
*~What do they mean?~*
AJ: Well Bone is my nickname, so thats why I had that done, I've got my Asian star sign on the back. It's a snake - I was born under the sign of the snake.
*~Do any of the other Backstreet boys have any tattoos we don't know about?~*
AJ: Just Brian - he has a cross on his left arm.
*~How many piercings do you have?~*
AJ: None but my ears. I don't want anymore, no.
*~How much did the tattoos hurt?~*
AJ: Some more than others, When they do it, first they put on just the outline without it being permanent , so you can see what it's gonna look like. that doesnt hurt as much as when they fill it in! When they coloured in the first one I got on my shoulder, I went pure white. But that was because I didn't know what to expect.
*~What did your mom say?~*
AJ: She was like, "Make sure whatever you get, you like, cause it's permanent."
