"I think you should stay laying down for awhile." The guy with the 'piercing blue eyes' told me. All I could do was nod my head and think 'oh my God, Brian Littrell just caught me!' I soon snapped out of that though, when thoughts of my cousin came to my mind.
"You all right miss?" Brian asked with concern in his eyes.
"No I am not all right! My 7 year old cousin is missing and these people won't let me go look for her! She could be hurt, or someone could've taken her, or she-she…I need to find her!"
I stood up but grabbed my head trying to stop the blackness.
"Don't worry, I am sure security is looking for-"
"How? They don't know what she even looks like!" I had cut him off. "She is so shy, she wont go with them."
"Okay, how about you tell me what she looks like."
"She has dirty blonde hair, a little darker then mine, big brown eyes, she only about 4'2". She's small. God, this all my fault, she'll never forgive me again."
I buried my face into my hands and started to cry a little.
"Shh, its okay, we'll find her." Brian said, calmly rubbing my back.
Brian's Point of View
As soon as I caught her, I knew she was special. At first when I saw her with the paramedics I was like 'oh another fan who passed out, probably because of one of A.J's 'great' dance moves.' But once she started telling me about her cousin, I knew she was different she was sure gorgeous too, wait what am I saying? I don't even know her name.
"She is so shy, she won't go with anyone, only with people she knows, family and friends. She definetly won't go with the security, hell they scare me." Even Brian smiled and nodded his head in agreement.
"What's your name?" Brian asked me still smiling.
'Ah Brian Littrell just asked me my name! OK girl calm down.'
"Brianna Derose." I told him calmly.
"That's a beautiful name. I figure you know my name," he said with a goofy look and I nodded my head. "Well Brianna, let's go look for your cousin. I'll come with you so you won't have any problems with security."
"You would do that for me?" I asked him in surprise.
"Yup, I have nothing better else to do, and I'd like to get to know you."
He said the last part kinda soft so I figured he was a little shy.
"Thank you so much Brian."
"Any time. Lydia, she's comin' with me. If she gets dizzy I'll bring her right back." Brian told the EMT.
"Keep that ice on your head." She said for a reply.
Brian put his arm around my back to make sure that I wasn't going to pass out or anything.
So Brian and I started looking around, as we did this we talked.
"Do you mind me asking you a question? You wouldn't have to answer if you don't want to."
"Sure shoot."
" Well, aren't you supposed to be performing? I didn't see you up there on stage, considering the time that I was actually watching the show."
He laughed a little.
"You've heard about my heart condition I'm sure, right?"
I nodded my head a little, starting to get worried, for some reason I've always been sensitive about him and his 'heart condition.'
"Earlier during practice I had a few pains in my chest and a little trouble breathing. The guys thought it would be best if I didn't perform tonight. I argueed with them for the longest time and Kevin and Nick gave me the longest lectures." He laughed to himself a little as if remembering them. "I know their only looking out for me, but its getting old. Ya know? 'Brian we care about you, you're family.' Or 'Brian what happens if you pass out during performing or even your solo?' I go along with it cause I don't want to hurt anyone. I guess anything could happen."
He shrugged his shoulders and smiled.
"So are you feeling better now?"
"Much, especially now that I've met you." 'Slow down B-Rok, you don't even know if she's single.'
I had blushed a little when he said that about me. I had never been comfortable with people telling me those kind of things.
'I wonder if him and Leigh Ann are still together, should I ask or would that be abrupt? I'll probably never meet him again.'
"So Brian is there any lucky ladies in your life?" 'stupid, you've known him what? 15 minutes of your life?'
"Actually, my girlfriend and I broke up about a month ago."
For a minute he looked upset and I could hear a tint of pain in his voice.
'nice one Brianna, bring up painful memories for the sweetest guy you've ever known.'
"I'm sorry to hear that, that wasn't even my place to ask you."
" No, no, its all right, I was going to ask you the same thing."
"Nope sorry sir, I am as straight as can be."
He laughed along with me.
Not only looks does this young lady have but a good sense of humor.'
" You don't think she could've gotten passed security do you?"
"Well, if she is as small as you said she is, then she would have a good chance."
"What if she is still inside the concert? You can't go in there you'll get mobbed."
Brian left for a minute with out saying a word but came back with a 6'5" security guard.
"This is Q, Q this is Brianna. The person I told you about. He'll go in with you and look for her. I'll look around backstage and what not. We'll find her, don't worry hun."
He walked away and I followed Q.
