Chapter 4

In AJ's hotel room AJ was screaming at the top of his lungs at Howie about how sorry he should be.

"Howie, confess. You know what you did, and so do I, so please confess now before I have to show you what happens if you don't."

Howie wasn't really scared, for AJ had done this too many times before. All of the incidents were not Howie's fault. No one knew who's fault it was, except one person.

"AJ, I'm not gonna confess for something I never did, man."

" Wadda ya mean you're NOT CONFESSING? I'll show you NOT CONFESSING!" AJ screamed as he slapped Howie with all of his strength.

None of the boys had seen this side of him before. And no one expected it to be Howie first, AJ's best friend. Howie fell to the floor in pain, and after he saw AJ charging at him again, he blacked out.

AJ stormed out of the room in anger, leaving Howie there in the room unconciouse on the floor. Not that he really cared.

Back in the lobby the boys were talking about what they were gonna do for the next album, if there was even going to be one. When they saw AJ coming in the room, Kevin asked

"Where's D.?"

"Ummm... Well, he knocked on my door, so I let him in. He started crying, so I asked him what was wrong. I tried to comfort him, but he wouldn't let me. He was almost screaming! I swear... And eventually he fell to sleep on the floor so I decided to come down here and get some breakfast."

Nick actually bought his lie, 'cuz he agreed with AJ no matter what he said. Kevin and Brian both looked at the other with an 'Well, what was all the screaming in the room' kind of look.

How could they beleive that? Howie would never cry like that. Or would he? Well, you'll find out later in the story.

Later that night Brian wanted to know the truth about what was happening with AJ and Howie. Howie always had this weird look in his eyes, and AJ always seemed angry whenever someone mentioned the name Howie. Brian turned the hotel door knob. Good, it's unlocked. he thought, being afraid it might be locked. But when he walked in he saw clothes covering the floor like a ocean. Howie must be in here. As he searched the room he saw a black NIKE t-shirt, and Brian went over to it. He never remembered AJ having a black NIKE shirt. But when he tried to pick it up, it didn't come off the floor. Just stretched. That was it. It was Howie. Not sleeping, but unconcious. Still.

'Woah. What happened in here earlier?' He thought to himself, shaking his head at the pathetic lie AJ had made two hour earlier.

"Howie..." he said, shaking him slightly. He didn't move.

Author's Note: *NO PEOPLE, HE'S NOT DEAD, SO DON'T WORRY.*

He shook him a little harder, calling out his name a little louder. But that didn't work either. Then he remembered yesterday when he had to scream in his ear to get him back into reality. So he decided to give it a shot.

"HOOOOWWWWWIIIIEEE!!!!!!!!" he screamed, shaking him rapidly. His eyes fluttered open, and he lifted his head.

"Ouuuuch!!!" he cried, holding onto the place on his face where AJ'd hit him earlier.

"Hey D, let me see that bruise."

Howie turned his face towards Brian.

"OH MY GOD D.!!!"

"D., did you know that you have the biggest bruise on your face?"

"Well, I kinda guessed after I first felt it."

"Man, what happened?"

Howie thought about if he should tell him or not.

"Nothing. AJ was just a little mad, and once he came a little too close, so I ran across the room and I accidently ran into the night stand. And AJ's room always looks like this. There's absolutly nothing to worry about."

"Okay. I won't ask any more questions."

"Just do me a favor and don't ask AJ?"

"Sure D. No problem."

That night they were all to Micky D's eating supper. No one had really said anything since they left the hotel. AJ looked around the table, the look of anger in his eyes when he saw Howie staring at him.

"What are you looking at, sheep?"

Howie started to glare at him. "I'm looking at your body of bones, bone face. All you are is tattos and rainbow hair."

At this Kevin said,

"Guys, please. Let's not make a scene. Plus there might be fans here.

"Yeah, he does have a point, guys," Brian chimed in.

"Whatever Rok," Nick said carelessly.

All the guys looked at him weird.

"What'd I say?"

"Ummm... guys, I think we'd better go. I mean, this might get bad, like it almost always does."

"Kev's right," Brian said.

"Fine. But tell the sheep she (Yes, you read correctly) can't sit by me in the car."

Kevin rolled his eyes.

"Okay, whatever Bone."

"And don't call me Bone! God do you know how damn annoying that nickname is?"

"Sorry..."
