While Justin and Rose were making up and making out, JC and Naomi were at home watching TV. Devon and Alee were already in bed.
"JC? Do you smell something burning?" Naomi asked him.
JC sniffed the air. It did smell like something was burning. They looked at each other in alarm.
"It's coming from the garage!" JC said.
The two of them raced upstairs to get the kids. After they got outside, Naomi went to the neighbors to call the fire department while JC stood in the street with Alee and Devon. The fire was consuming the garage. Then JC noticed something written on the driveway. It said,
"Get out of town, you ni**er lover! You don't belong here!"
Then Naomi came running up to them.
"I called the fire department. They should be here any minute. What's wrong?"
JC pointed to the driveway and Naomie gasped in horror. Then the fire department arrived and they moved out of the way so the firefighters could do their job. Naomi buried her head in JC's shoulder and started to cry.
"What are we going to do?" she asked. "What are we going to do?"
