The funeral was two days later and Joey's will was read two days later. The guys waited outside the room.
After it was over, Alica came out with a CD and some sheets of paper in her hands.
"Guys, Joey wanted you to have this," she told them, handing the CD and papers to Chris.
"What is it?" asked Lance.
"A song that Joey wrote. He said, in his will, that he wanted you guys to add your parts and release the song."
The guys all looked at the song. It was entitled Memories of Ours. The guys started recording their parts of the song the next day. Joey had recorded his voice onto the CD.
Memories, as they started to call it, started off soft and simple and ended very dramaitc. Joey had requested a choir for the last minute and a half so the guys got one.
Memories of Ours was released mid October and the video, a tribute to Joey with clips of the group, was released at the end of October. It soared into the top 10 in the first month and then climbed to number one in December, where it remained for 2 months.
