Later that night, Kevin and me were at home. I was watching TRL and Kevin was in the kitchen, making popcorn so we could watch a movie.
"The oldest member of the next group on the countdown has always been called the daddy of the group. But reports now are that Kevin Richardson of the Backstreet Boys actually is a dad. The reports say that he has adopted. Nothing has been confirmed yet but they are going to be on in a couple of weeks so we can ask."
"Hey, Dad!" I called out. I had started to call Kevin 'Dad' instantly and I like it. "MTV already found out."
"They did?" asked Dad. He came into the room with a huge bowl of popcorn.
"Do you have extra butter?" I asked.
"Yes."
"When are you guys going to be on?"
"I think the fifth. You'll be with us."
Dad had already told me what was going to happen. If they were on tour, I would be with them. He had hired a tutor who I would meet after we came back from Kentucky. And now we were going to stay longer since I didn't have to go back to the hospital.
