Nick was still sitting at his computer when the image of Joey flashed into his mind and he heard Joey's message. He jumped out of his chair and ran up the staris. He grabbed his car keys and cell phone from the kitchen counter.
"Call Brian," he commanded as he started the car.
"Hello?" he heard Brian say.
"Get to Joey's house as soon as you can. It could be a matter of life or death," Nick told him and then hung up. He commanded the phone to call JC as he drove as fast as possible without being pulled over.
