When Nick got to Joey's, some of the guys were already there and the others were just pulling up.
"What the hell are you doing?" Nick demanded.
"We didn't know what we were supposed to do," Chris told him.
Nick ran up to the front door and opened it. He headed for Joey's living room and the others followed.
"Damn!" he said as soon as he saw Joey. Or what had been Joey. His head was already a glob of green stuff and it was working down his body.
"What are we going to do?" asked Kevin.
"What can we do?" Nick snapped. "By the time the cops get here, Joey's body will be completely gone. Might as well go home."
With that, he walked out of the room, his head hanging, silently greiving Joey's death. The others followed him.
