Later that night, Lance drove home and went straight up to his room. He changed and got into bed. He was feeling depressed after what had happened. They had all stayed at Nick's until about 11, talking. Lance decided to turn on Jay Leno. He always cheered him up.
After he had been watching for a while, Jay went to commercial break. The TV was silent for only a few seconds but it was long enough for Lance to hear it. He heard a faint sound, like a jar being closed. He couldn't see anything so he jsut ignored it.
Jay came back on and Lance returned his attention to the TV. After a few minutes, his arm was itching. He scratched where it itched but when he brought his hand to his fave, he saw his fingers were covered in blood. Lacne looked back down at his arm and saw them.
There were some beetles crawling into his arm. Lance thought he was seeing things. He pinched his upper arm to see if he was dreaming. He felt the pain and could feel a beetle crawling under his skin.
Lance screamed, even though he knew there was no one to hear his scream. But he was wrong. Right after he screamed, he felt a cloth cover his mouth and nose and then he blacked out.
