After the show was over, Nick and Brian headed backstage. They went to Leigh Anne's dressing room first.
"You were absolutely amazing," Brian gushed as soon as Leigh Anne opened the door. She was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. She gestured for them to come in. Brian hugged and kissed her. Then he slipped his arm around her shoulders.
"Thanks," Leigh Anne said, blushing. She wasn't one who liked to be complimented so much. "What did you think, Nick?"
"You were pretty good."
"Thanks."
"He was more interested in Ariana," Brian told her, playing with her hair.
"Really?" Leigh Anne asked, interested.
"It's not what you think," Nick told her.
"It's not," Brian confirmed. "She's the girl that Nick almost ran over about a month ago.
Leigh Anne gasped.
"You're kidding me."
"I wish," Nick said, glumly.
"You wanna meet her?" Leigh Anne asked. "Her dressing room's right next door."
"No," said Nick quickly. "That's really okay."
Brian and Leigh Anne both laughed at him. Then there was a knock at the door. Leigh Anne opened it.
"Hey girl," she said. The door opened all the way to reveal…Ariana Skyles.
