Since the Boys would be in Europe from most of December, the couples were spending a lot of time together. This was also the reason Nick went Christmas shopping mid November.
So, he was at the mall. After a quick stop at the food court, Nick headed for a favorite bookstore of Jasmine and AJ's. He didn't even try to pretend he understood that crap. As he turned into the store, he ran smack into a girl.
"Watch where you're going!" she snapped.
"I'm sorry," he apologized. "I wasn't paying attention."
"So I noticed."
Nick had a sneaky suspicion she didn't like him.
"I'm Nick."
"Congratulations. I have to get going now. Move."
Nick stepped out of the way and she walked pass. He watched her blonde hair swing as she walked. She had blue eyes and was about 5'7". That was all he knew-but found himself wanting to know more.

The Boys had planned to stay in Europe until the 20th of December, coming back to the States only to appear at the Billboard Awards in Las Vegas. Ally and Jasmine watched it on TV.
"Backstreet Boyssssssssssssssssssss!" introduced Andy Dick.
The women sat up eagerly. The short video came on with Brian first. Ally's eyes lit up. Then they showed Kevin; then Nick. Finally AJ.
"I really can't stand any of the guys," he said.
"He is so HOT!" Jasmine exclaimed.
Ally shot her a look and laughed. "You'd think you were a fan."
"Look at him!" she protested. "He's hot!"
"He is? Look at Brian."
They both laughed and turned their attention back to the TV where the Boys were singing I'll Never Break Your Heart. The cameras zoomed in on Brian.
"What's up with the collar Brian?" Jasmine asked. Brian had his collar turned up in James Dean style.
"He looks cute."
"Ha!"
