"Nick, can you please let me use your blankey?" he asked, his voice muffled because he was practicaly asleep.
Nick turned around and looked at him with his eyes half open.
"Go back to your own bed, Bri."
"But I heard a wierd noise. I got scar-dedededed."
"Whatever," was all he said in return and laid on his back to stay comfortable.
Brian put his head on Nick's shoulder and fell asleep.
Just after Brian fell asleep the busdriver came back and yelled:
"Yo, dudes, you gotta get up. Bus troubles. We gotta find somewhere else to sleep." No one moved. "C'mon, guys! Get up!" Still, no one moved.
So he paced back to the steering wheel and honked the horn. Kevin and AJ jumped out of bed, while the others still didn't move.
"What's happenin, dude?" AJ asked suprised, looking at the bus driver blankly and yawned.
"Yeah. It's, like,...uhh... 10:00 at night and I just got cozy!" Kevin whined, acting like a baby.
"Just wake up the rest of the guys, get dressed, and meet me out here when you're done."
And that was all he said before he walked out of the bus.
"Weird..." Kevin mumbled. "Probably just some bus troubles. Again. But oh well. We're gonna get a new bus soon."
AJ didn't seem to mind at all. He just pulled on a shirt and some jeans and walked over to Brian's bunk. But when he opened the curtain, he gasped. He went over to Nick's bunk, stuck his head in the curtain, and called Kevin over.
"What?" Kevin asked irritatably.
"Look at this..." AJ whispered, trying not to laugh.
When Kevin saw it, he about cracked up, too.
"Wanna get Howie?"
"Naaah," they replied in unison.
"He'd probably get really mad at us," Kevin said matter-of-factly.
There in Nick's bunk laid Nick and Brian, sharing a blanket and pillow, Brian's head on Nick's shoulder.
After they managed to get Nick and Brian out of bed and they were all dressed, everyone except AJ started to walk out the door.
"Wait guys. Aren't we forgetting something?" he asked, a smirk on his face.
"Uhhh... errr... ummm..." was all he got for a reply.
"Oh my God, guys! You're crazy! Oh well, I'll go grab it."
AJ knew this joke would be good. He grabbed the flashlight and flashed it at Kevin.
"Hey!"
"HA HA!!"
He did that even though it wasn't the joke. He knew he'd get in trouble, but he didn't care. The look on the person's face would be priceless. The bus driver was getting annoyed.
"Can you guys be a little bit quieter? Pleeeaaaasssse?"
"Yes father," they all said in unison and cracked up laughing.
The bus driver just rolled his eyes.
A little while later when they were about a mile from the bus, they all heard a yell from behind them. Everyone jumped and turned around except AJ. He just smiled.
"W-w-w-wha-a-at w-w-w-a-as t-t-ha-at?" Nick asked. "WHAT THE HELL!!! WAIT!!!"
That was all everyone heard before they started to run. As fast as they could. AJ knew who it was, he just went with the flow. They saw a figure in baggy clothes running after them. The person was a couple inches shorter than Brian and had dark, slicked hair from what they saw in the moonlight. Then they all looked at each other. They all knew who it was. AJ fell to the ground and sarted to howl in laughter. As the figure aproached, he was panting loudly from running so fast.
"What the hell! I woke up, no one was there, so I figured you had to be somewhere around here. And then I heard oyu guys talkin', so I got dressed and here I am."
All the guys looked at AJ. He stopped laughing.
"What?"
"Real funny AJ."
"C'mon, Howie! Ya gotta have some fun in life!"
"Oh well... I'm really tired, so can we please find somewhere to sleep?"
All the guys agreed. But when they got there, they all gasped...
