The next day, Ally did call him. They sort of worked it out. Ally still thought he should have the surgery right away. But they were still friends.
When Brian went back on tour with the guys, he missed Ally. Nick, Kevin, and Howie thought he was sad because he needed the surgery. But AJ knew the truth. He had finally realized that he loved Ally.
When May came around, the guys took two months off. Kevin and Brian flew back to Kentucky.
In November, it had been planned for Brian to stay at his parents for recovery. But he had given them a cruise for their anniversary and they were going to be gone during the first few weeks. Kevin's mom was going with so Brian was staying with Ally.
The day before surgery, he talked to all theguys. Kevin, Nick, and Howie just wished him good luck. AJ was a different story.
"So you're staying with Ally, huh?"
"Yep," said Brian.
"That should be pretty interesting."
"AJ, we're not going to sleep together. She doesn't even have those kind of feelings for me."
"Oh yeah. Poor Brian."
"Thanks," said Brian sarcasticly.
"So when do I get to meet her?"
"Well, aren't you guys coming up to Kev's in a couple of weeks?"
"Yeah."
"If Ally lets me, I'll call you and maybe you can come to her place."
"Kay."
"Look, I gotta go. See ya in a couple weeks.
"Bye."
He hung up and finished packing.

The next morning, Brian's parents drove him to the hospital. Ally was already there. So were Kevin and his mom. The staff gaving him a gown to put on while he was waiting.
"So would do you think the fans would think if they saw me like this?" he asked Kevin.
"I don't even want to think about that," Kev said, grinning.
Then everyone wished him good luck and they took him in.
