Chapter 3

Okay, you're probably all confused right now, so I'll start from the beginning.

The Night and Dark Beings have been around since the beginning of humans on Earth. We have always disguised ourselves as humans.

Many Beings are in the business. They put hidden messages in their work, whether it is a song, or a movie or a TV show, to protect or add the process of the destruction of the world. The world isn't really in danger of ending in the year 2000; it's really the year 2206 when there is a possibility. And it wouldn't be the end of the world. It's just if the Dark Beings win, they will take everyone else in the world, mortals and Night Beings, captive and make them their slaves with no hope of escape.

Witches are the leaders of both the Beings. Our eyes have the power to hypnotize anyone we need to. We can also freeze time. We are also the doctors of the Beings.

Mummies are people who have gone through so many reincarnations that they finally come back as a Being. If they were good in there past lives, they become Night Beings. If they were bad-Dark Beings. If a Night mummy's wrappings come unwrapped, the mummy starts to glow brightly and blinds the enemy so everyone can escape. Mummies also have the ability to leave but still leave their light behind for five more minutes to insure safety.

For phantoms, the only part of their body that changes is the face, which becomes wrinkled and deformed. There are never new phantoms. They were all created at the beginning and just keep living. Sometimes, they go into hiding for awhile and then are somehow, reborn. When they are reborn, their powers are rejuvenated. In the mortal world, the phantoms (when they are human) are thought as mavericks. They tend to dress differently or act different than others. Many of them are big fans of Shakespeare, who was a phantom himself. Phantoms are physics. They can read pretty much anyone's mind, except for other phantoms, with out them knowing it. This comes in handy in battles so phantoms can find out what the other side is planning.

Werewolves, unlike phantoms, change completely. They are covered in hair and started to walk on all fours. Only their eyes stay the same. Werewolves have super sensitive hearing and smelling. They can tell by a voice or a smell who it is within at least a mile radius. That's on average. Some werewolves have a larger range, some smaller. Brian's is about two miles. They can also see in any kind of lighting or the dark.

Vampires also have as very good sense of smell. But they smell the blood. I once met a vampire that could figure out a person's blood type up to six miles away. Vampires actually don't drink blood as much as believed. They drink exactly every two weeks. If they are off on a feeding, weird things start to happen to them.

Two-minders are the smartest of the Beings and have the ability to turn back time. Every leader picks one two-minder to be her assistant. Many times, it's the witch's One that is her assistant. I'll explain about Ones next. Einstein was a two-minder, which tells you how smart they are. Two-minders are very organized people. They have the ability to fly.

Now, I'll explain Ones to you. Ones are Being's soulmates. The two are meant to be together for all eternity. If one of them is killed, the other one also dies.

Now, on with the guys' story.
