"It's time for you to take the guys to the official training center," she told us. My friends and I nodded; we knew exactly what she was talking about. The guys, on the other hand, were completely confused.
"What are you talking about?" asked Howie. "Isn't this the training center?"
"No. This is more like the waiting room, I guess you could say. At the official center, you'll meet other Beings besides the girls and will be able to use your powers more widely."
"So when do we leave?" Nick asked, bouncing up and down. He seemed to have endless energy. Tajae rolled her eyes at him.
"Now," she told him. "We leave right away."
"Ready?" Meredith asked. I had seen her do this countless other times and she always got the same gleam in her eyes.
"Don't we need to pack?" Kevin asked, always the sensible one.
"No," I told him. "There will be clothes there."
"Now, are you ready?" Meredith asked.
We all nodded and were transported to the official training center.
