"Here is a short contemplation seed the ECK Master Lai Tsi found in
himself upon returning from the heavenly worlds. Should anyone be
in distress or need to reach the great SUGMAD, use this contemplation.
Repeat it slowly. It certainly brings results.
"Show me Thy ways, O SUGMAD; Teach me Thy path. Lead me in Thy truth, and teach me; On Thee do I wait all day. Remember, O Beloved, Thy guiding light And Thy loving care. For it has been ever Thy will To lead the least of Thy servants to Thee!""
But before Harold, Paul Twitchell wrote:
(The "words" of "Lai Tsi") "I found now that the only thing that counts is the SUGMAD, not God
as this world knows, but that wondrous, changeless being that few except the ECK Master and
the devotees know.
Here is a short contemplation seed which I found in myself upon returning from the heavenly worlds:
"Show me thy ways, O SUGMAD; Teach me thy path; Lead me in thy truth and teach me; On Thee do I wait all day. Remember, O Beloved, Thy guiding light And Thy loving care.> To lead the least of Thy servants to Thee!"
But...before that, it was written in the King James Version of the Bible (to that "God as the world
knows!"):
Psalm 25: 4 - 6
4 Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all day.
6 Remember, O Lord thy tender mercies and thy loving kindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
And "Monty Cantsin" also noted:
>
> Notice how mercy and supplication for salvation is transmuted into a
guiding light:
>
> 1 John 1:5:
> "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light,
and in him is no darkness at all."
And this 25th Psalm plagiarism is repeated in the 1997 book "35 Golden Keys to Who You Are &
Why You're Here" ... a book presently being "pushed" in bookstores and in introductory
workshops, on page 179-180.
"Lai Tsi taught a contemplation seed which he created upon his return from the heavenly worlds.
Eckists today reflect on this inspiring poem in hymns and contemplation: Lai Tsi's Prayer
(repeated in book
as above...rewrite of the 25th Psalm!)

I'm sorry, but this item has been brought to the attention of Eckankar, and there has been NO
proper crediting of the original source. (Remember, too, that Klemp said that eckmasters check
and double-check everything...or words to that effect, posted elsewhere on this site!) Eckists
will refuse to comment, or offer rationalizations such as the "Great Astral Library" excuse, or
claim that the Bible was originally inspired by "eckmasters" anyway, therefore, it's not worth
commenting on. . .
And, Twitchell and Klemp repeatedly show their disregard and lack of respect for the Bible and Christianity in general, in "teachings" such as these:
