In this essay, I will describe the persecution of Christian and Animist Black Africans in the Sudan. They reside in the Central and Southern part of the beautiful nation. They are being killed and enslaved by the Arab-Muslims, who live in the North of the country. Forced Islamization is behind this terrible civil war. May the Lord bless and protect the innocents there, including our Christian brothers and sisters who are living in fear as we speak.

A soldier within the Sudanese Army, named Ishmael Abakir, who was with a raiding party from the North of Sudan kidnapped a Christian woman in the Southern reigon of Sudan, and raped her daily for five days, until she reached the North. Once there, in the village of Abu Karenga, she became a slave in his household, and during this time, not only was she forced to be a slave to him and his wives, Alima and Zara, she was forced to attend the Feki Ahmeed's Khalwa (or Quranic school). The school was owned by her captors father. Occasionally, when she was in the house alone, she was raped by Ishmael's brother, Suleiman; this is how she became pregnant and gave birth to her son Hussein.

In America, kidnapping and rape are considered serious crimes. Please don't immediately disregard this just because you are a Northerner or a Muslim. I would say the exact same thing if this type of crime was committed against a Muslim woman, by any Christian man. If we allow this type of evil to go unpunished, then we are all: Animists, Christians and Muslims, guilty of inhumanity. Peace be upon you all,
