Hoof Beat Rules-**updated!**
Please follow these rules to help the game run smoothly.
Behaviour
- No swearing or bad language at all!
- Be nice and no putdowns or insults.
- No pornography.
- No sending chainletters or "junk mail" to other members. If you send a chain letter to ANY HB staff at sunfire_25@hotmail.com, you will be fined $200!
- If you are found not feeding your horses, you will get 3 warnings, then I final excuse letter.
- Please be active! If you can no longer remain active and have to quit tell me.
Money
- You start the game with $35,000.
- You may get loans just e-mail us, the loan must be paid back within 4 months or you must pay a $200 fee.
- You get a weekly pay check of $500, so watch how you spend your money!
- You must have a job to earn money
Horses
The time to buy more feed is listed beside your name in the tack room! Don't Forget!
Every member starts the game with the horses that they buy at the 'HB classifieds' or from a member.
All horses must be boarded at a stable listed on the Stables page.
Horses are required to be shod or have hooves trimmed every six weeks, and must visit the vet at least once a year for shots, and worming once every 6 months, an overall body inspection may be at anytime.
No members, boarder or stable owner can own more than 50 horses at one time.
You must feed your horses, if you don't you will be excused after 3 (three) warnings.
Boarding & Stables
- You must be able to pay the board every month, or you won't be able to keep your horses, if you can't keep up the board paymet, then you can't keep your horses, simple, you may lease them out though, to someone with (say the board is $300/month) lease them out for= $300 /month. You may get loans from the bank also *see MONEY for detail.
- Stable owners should be able to answer questions that boarders have about the stable.
Breeding & Aging
- Mares are in foal for eleven (11) days and you must wait for four (4) real months before they can be bred again.
- You can age newborn foals up to 1 years, after they are 2 months old, but after they are 5 months you may not age them, you may only age your horse once!
- Studs can be bred up to fifteen times a month.
Importing
- You may bring in up to five horses from other games, and pay an importing fee of $100 each.
- All points of imports go to a reasonable amount.
- Money, tack, feed, pets (dogs & cats, etc..) and stable supplies are not to be imported.
Points & Shows
- You must be a PREMIUM player to hold a show.
- You may buy ribbons from the ribbon shop for your show.
- You may buy prizes for your show, HB may sponser you also.

- To hold a show you must go to the events page and request permission. Any shows advertised without permission the owner gets a $150 fine per offence.
- Shows may not be on the same day as another.
- The point distribution are as follows: (placing only goes up to sixth place, if classes are too large (20+) they may be split in two. You must be a PREMIUM player to hold a show.
Champion= 7 pts! Plus ribbon (H&R)
Res. Champion= 6 pts! Plus ribbon (H&R) 1st PLACE= 5 pts. plus ribbon (horse (H) and rider (R))
*-distribution will be decided at judging time.
2nd Place= 4 pts.plus ribbon-blue (H & R.)
3rd Place= 3 pts.plus ribbon-red (H & R.)
4th Place= 2 pts.plus ribbon-white (H & R.)
5th Place= 1 pt.plus ribbon-green (H & R)
6th Place= 0 pts. and a ribbon-pink (H & R)
Miscellaneous
- You may add to the newsletter at anytime just e-mail us
- If something happens to your horse you will be notifyed by the stable you board at, you have to reply within 3 days or your horse will get very sick, or maybe forever lame if it sprained an ankle, the sooner you reply the sooner your horse will get better, and the better chance it has to recouperate fully.
- I give you permission to import any of YOUR horses to another game, but I must know where and be able the talk to the Prez. of the game, please clone, don't take your horse away, you may sell it here and use it on in the next game.
- You may hold a chat session at anytime, just list it on the forum!
