The Path to the Pokémon League
One day in Pallet Town, a young man named Sean met his friend Pat to begin their
amazing journey in the mysterious world of Pokemon. They walked to Prof. Oak’s
lab to receive their first Pokemon. Sean chose Bulbasaur and Pat chose Squirtle.
Now traveling to Viridian City, Sean and Pat are forced to battle many wild
Pokemon. After many battles, they finally reach Viridian City. They soon enter
the Pokemon Center in Viridian to heal their Pokemon. They soon find themselves
traveling back to Pallet with a package for Prof. Oak. They return to Prof.
Oak’s lab and each of them receives a Pokedex in return for the package. The
Pokedex is a miniature computer that stores the information that our heroes will
collect on their journey. Sean and Pat resume their journey as they again travel
to Viridian City. They then find a path that leads to Indigo Plateau, home of
the famous Pokemon League! Soon they have entered the building but are stopped
by a guard who tells them that they can only pass on to the Pokemon League if
they collect the 8 badges from the gym leaders. They also learn that there is a
gym in Viridian City. They soon find out that Viridian Gym is locked up tight!
They now walk to the Pokemon Mart and buy some Pokeballs and Potions. They soon
find themselves battling and capturing new Pokemon! After days of traveling
through the treacherous Viridian Forest, they finally reach Pewter City! Before
their first Pokemon battle against a gym leader, our heroes revitalize their
pokemon at the pokemon center. Then they challenge the Pewter Gym leader, Brock
and earn their first Pokemon League badge! It is a boulder badge. Our heroes
self esteem higher than ever before, they enter the mysterious Mt. Moon. Soon,
our heroes find themselves lost after chasing two Clefairy deep into the cave.
Then our heroes regain sight of the Clefairy and manage to catch them. Finally,
our heroes find their way out of Mt. Moon and into Cerulean City. They soon find
themselves in a battle with the leader of the Cerulean City gym, Mi!
sty. After a miraculous battle, they earn a Cascade Badge! Now, they must defeat
six trainers and one member of the notorious group of Pokemon gangsters, Team
Rocket. They defeat their challengers and earn a gold nugget as well as some
money for their victory. They walked to the Sea Cottage where a Pokemon
reasearcher named Bill lives. They receive two tickets to board the famous
luxury cruise liner the St. Anne in return for returning Bill to his original
form because while testing a strange device, his body was merged with a
Pokemon’s. Sean and Pat now travel to Vermillion City where they defeat Lt.
Surge the gym leader and earn their third badge, the Thunder Badge. They now
board the St. Anne and receive the HM that teaches a Pokemon the cut technique.
They exit the ship, so it now leaves without them. Traveling across the land,
searching far and wide, our heroes continue their journey. Our heroes end up in
Lavender Town, home of Pokemon Tower, grave site of Pokemon. They battle their
way through Pokemon Tower, catching some ghost type Pokemon. Finally they reach
the end of Pokemon Tower, and once again thwart the plans of the notorious Team
Rocket and save a kindly man by name of Mr. Fuji who gives them a Pokeflute in
return for his rescue. Celadon City, the next stop on Sean and Pat’s journey,
has a gym located within. Sean and Pat’s journey continues as they battle
against Erica, the Celadon gym leader. They fought a valiant battle and our
heroes prevailed, winning a fourth badge, a Rainbow badge. Soon, they spend
almost all their money on a bicycle, which the use to travel to Fuchsia City by
way of the Cycling Road. They exit the cycling road and discover that the
Cycling Road exits by the Safari Zone, a paradise for Pokemon Trainers. Once
inside the Safari Zone, our heroes catch various exotic Pokemon. Our heroes
leave the Safari Zone and enter Fuchsia City where they battle the gym leader,
Koga and win their fifth badge, a Soul Badge. Our heroes soon discover that
riding back up the cycling road is more difficult than riding down it! Though it was tough, our heroes, Sean
and Pat, managed to make it back up the Cycling Road and then travel to Saffron
City. Deep within Saffron City, lies two gyms, the fighting dojo and the normal
gym. Our heroes easily defeat the leader of the fighting dojo earning another
Pokemon. Next, our heroes fight a difficult battle against the gym leader,
Sabrina and earn a sixth badge, a Marsh Badge. They travel to Cinnabar Island
and battle Blaine, the Cinnabar Gym leader and earn their seventh badge, a
Volcano Badge. They return to Viridian and discover that the gym has been
unlocked! They enter the gym and battle the gym leader, Giovanni who turns out
to be the leader of Team Rocket! They defeat him and earn the eighth and final
badge, the Earth Badge! They return to Indigo Plateau, this time the guard
allows them to pass on to Victory Road the final test for trainers. Sean and Pat
manage to navigate through Victory Road to the final battle. The battle against
the Elite Four. Our heroes defeat the Elite Four and become the Pokemon League
champions! Sean, Pat, and their Pokemon are entered in the Pokemon League Hall
of Fame where they will be honored Forever.
