The Gold and Silver Version
The gold and silver version will probably come the same time the as Pokemon movies (see article). The gold and silver versions will let you find ALL 254 Pokemon in the wild (yes 254 Pokemon!), except for the prehistoric Pokemon. The two will also allow you to use a skateboard. If you get on a skateboard and run into a wall, you might reach a secret area. You may also breed Pokemon, there will be male and female genders for each pokemon, so you can also hatch Poke-eggs. As well as a lot of good stuff there are also cons, there will be a times when your Pokemon will sleep and will not battle, because there is a day and night time (you need nocturnal Pokemom to battle at night and non-nocturnal ones to battle during the day). So save your money.

Pokemon Gold and Silver
Pokemon Gold and Silver, or "Pokemon 2" is announced to have a release date in 1st quarter next year. The game will include the 150 original some of which will have added evolutions, such as Pikachu evolving into Raichu and then into Pikablu. There will be 100 more, bringing the total amount of pokemon to 250. Also, there will be day and night in the game. Some pokemon will only come out to be caught at night. Another feature on the new game is that there will be a breeding function. you can take say, Two Dugtrios and have them make a diglett!
