This is my first attempt at writing a
tutorial so bear with me as I stumble through..:-)
You will require PSP7(Im sure PSP6 will also work.:-))
and my zip file that contains the feather and inkpot tubes and the font I used.."Georgia".
Feel free to use what ever font you like
SAVE YOUR WORK OFTEN!

HereMy zip file containing 2 tubes and
"Georgia" Font.Unzip into respective folders.
***Please note the co-ordinates given for the
feather are only approximates,please look
at the images provided to judge where your feather
needs to be placed***
**Also make sure when erasing the text no small
spots are left as they will appear during the
finished animation**
1)Open a new image.. 400x200 Transparent image
(16.7 million colors)
2)Create a new raster layer and call it Inkpot
then create another raster layer called Signature1
3)Make sure Signature1 layer is active
Click on your text tool and type your text.
I used the color #8080FF but you can choose
another if you like.Click OK.
4)Center the text using these co-ordinates
and while its still active you may
want to add a filter effect or leave as is.
I added a inner bevel effect..see below.
SAVE YOUR WORK
5)Select your Inkpot layer and open your tubes and
position the Inwell in the lower Left bottom corner
Size 100.
6)Select you Signature1 layer and left click and duplicate,rename this layer Signature2.
Repeat this process until you have 10 signature
layers.Your pallet should now look like this..
7)Select Signature1 layer,open your tubes and find the
Feather,reduce the size to 60 and position at
co-ordinates 40,125.It should now be sitting over
the inkpot.
8)Close all layers EXCEPT Signature2 and the inkwell.
SAVE YOUR WORK
9)Open your Eraser tool Size 40,Hardness 100,Opacity
100,Step 25 and Density 100.Erase all the text
except the letter P.Postion the Feather size 60
at co-ordinates 84,52.
SAVE YOUR WORK
10)Close Signature2 layer and open Signature3 layer..
(keeping inkpot layer open through out each step.)
11)Use your eraser tool (same settings as above) to delete
the text leaving the letters PROU
Place the Feather tube..size 60 at co-ordinates 106,66.

12)Close Signature3 layer and open Signature4 layer.Using the
eraser tool delete the text leaving the PROU again.Place your
feather..size 60 at co-ordinates..46,125

13)Close Signature4 layer and open Signature5 layer
14)Delete text using the eraser tool leaving the letters..PROUD ME.Place
the feather size 60 at co-ordinates..255,64.

15)Close Signature5 layer and open Signature6 layer
16)Delete text using the eraser tool leaving the letters..PROUD MEMBE.Place
the feather size 60 at co-ordinates..337,67.
17)Close Signature6 layer and open Signature7 layer
SAVE YOUR WORK
18)Delete text using the eraser tool leaving the letters..PROUD MEMBE again.Place
the feather size 60 at co-ordinates..41,127.
19)Close Signature7 layer and open Signature8 layer
SAVE YOUR WORK
20)Delete text using the eraser tool leaving the letters..PROUD MEMBER OF ~ .Place
the feather size 60 at co-ordinates..197,101.
21)Close Signature8 layer and open Signature9 layer
22)Delete text using the eraser tool leaving the letters..PROUD MEMBER OF ~FB .Place
the feather size 60 at co-ordinates..254,106.
SAVE YOUR WORK
23)Close Signature9 layer and open Signature10 layer
24)leaving the letters..PROUD MEMBER OF ~FBN~ .Place
the feather size 60 at co-ordinates..310,99.
SAVE YOUR WORK
25)Now we save..lolol.Close all layers EXCEPT layer1,inkpot and signature1..
Go to layers,Merge,Merge visable...
Go to SAVE AS..save as a psp file
and name it sig1 and place into a folder of your choice.
26)Click on the Undo Button and repeat the above process only closing signature1
and opening signature2..
(leaving the layer1 and inkpot layers open)
27)You should end up with 10 psp files named sig1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10.
